I used Ford Chat. Confirmed shipped! Blend date of 1/3 so I’m glad it’s finally out the door.

ETA here in WA is 2/10-2/16. CSX doesn’t have a status on that rail car so maybe it hasn’t left the factory site yet. A month seems like a long time.

Thank you all! Ford’s customer journey hasn’t been great so far, but this group has been really good at supporting one another.

CSX is everything east of the Mississippi. Look at the stickies about tracking to see which rail service you’ll need to follow. I believe it’s Union Pacific. Ford chat can tell you for sure. They make it a point to advise you to not contact the rail lines in person. Call your dealer or keep checking in with Ford chat.

Your tracker will probably change to show “Order Confirmed” soon. You can pretty much bet it’s shipping at that point. If it reverts back to order confirmed, contact ford chat. They will give you updated info.

To clarify, if you get a CSX rail car number from Ford chat, you can track that using CSX's automated phone service all the way to the destination rail yard, even if it changes rail companies. BNSF took over for my delivery at Chicago, but it started on CSX.

What if it says no status? Does that mean it has not shipped? I checked with CSX automated line.

CSX doesn’t show an update for my train car, either. I figure that just means they haven’t picked up the rail car yet.

It’s like checking Amazon and getting a tracking number, but UPS doesn’t show any updates yet because they haven’t picked up the package.

Hate to say it, but prepare for continued agony. Even when CSX started reporting my car's location, it was stuck at the Wayne, MI plant for 2 more days...

Funny you ask. I was just about to post that I got my notification as well. The tracker really does not seem to work that well in real time. Causes unnecessary frustrations. But I’m glad it’s finally been shipped.

Got this update this morning. I heard that means it has shipped. Got a call from my dealer a bit ago saying the transporter will be delivering it to the dealership this afternoon or tomorrow morning. Dealer said I should be able to pick it up tomorrow.

I think my tracker just went backwards. On the top it went back to order confirmed but the dates for blend, in production, and built are still there? My built date is 1/13/24 and I was hoping that it would be shipped soon or is this a glitch in the matrix?
