Modules Friday (blend date). Tear tag populated today. Progress!
My blend date was Friday as well, mods posted but no tear tag yet.

Dealer did just tell me that the ETA they can see on their end is currently 1/21, not holding my breath but it would be nice.

Foamer!! lol. I’ve never heard of that one!! Im definitely going to try for a train pic!

Judging from the posts on this forum it seems for most the excitement is always there at some level. You know, I only had my ā€˜23 bronco about 9 days before it was back at the dealer for a bad gateway module. I never got it back and ford did a buy back on it. I loved it and was stoked every time I even looked at it and it sucked to go through that but I’m psyched to be getting a replacement. Tracking the build on this one is every bit as fun as the first.
What a nightmare. I’m reall sorry you went through that experience. Hopefully you had another car to drive. I’m assuming Ford didn’t provide you a rental to use in the meantime.

My Bronco will be my daily and I plan to sell my current car the week before the Bronco arrives. Fingers crossed my rig is good to drive right out of the box.

That would be a fast delivery for sure. Mine is coming to East TX. Probably beginning of Feb or so maybe. šŸ¤ž

Same...except that I haven't talked to my dealer about an ETA.

My tear tag just populated
Lucky ducky. My modules turned on relatively early in the morning on Friday, but no Tear as of 1730 EST.

I have a fantastic dealer and they got me a brand new escape with like 10 miles on it without me even asking. I don’t think bronco issues are a guarantee, I just pulled an unlucky card. I bet yours will awesome with no issues! im old as dirt and have had countless vehicles and hands down the Bronco I’d the funnest vehicle I’ve ever driven!! Get ready for tons of fun.

Interesting. I'm surprised Ford did a buyback so quick for a single occurrence. Was it a major issue to replace that module or did they find other problems?
They could not get the correct software to program the Gateway module. Dealer kept waiting for Ford and Ford wasn’t responding. They had the truck about 8 weeks or so. I finally asked the dealer to start the buyback with Ford and it was a really painless drama free process. I’m out a couple months of insurance payments but I got all the $$ back on what I paid for the Bronco.

Wow, good for you. Your experience sounds positive but I have heard many horror stories with vehicle issues, lack of dealer support, etc. Sounds like you have a decent dealer.

My dealer is a small town shop that’s been there for 50 years so they are pretty good. Don’t get me wrong, they are there to make money first and foremost but at least they treat you with respect.

The person I worked with at Ford for the buyback was absolutely amazing. I went into this with the thoughts of exactly what you mentioned…that it was going to be a horror story and she erased all of that with the first phone call. I guess once in my life I had a bit of luck!

Got my Tear Tag this morning....sometime between 0730 and 0845. Another milestone checked off.

Haven't seen anyone post it. There a ton of stories from the last couple of years where vehicles were delivered before the tracker showed "built".

My bronco Badlands with the Lux package was blended on January 2, 2024. A day later when I checked the modules page there were some modules listed. But no tear tag. Last Wednesday the tear tag showed up and the modules page was much longer.

I checked today and the vehicle is still listed as in production. When I checked the modules page I noticed there are significantly more modules listed than there were a week ago. Has anyone else noticed this? Could it be the vehicles built but still having software updates a week later?

just curious

My blend date and modules were turned on on the 5th, but the tear tag wasn't published until this morning. Module list looks as long as its been all weekend....lots of scrolling. actually counting before and after is the only way to tell for sure. That said, I think it makes sense that if everything didn't turn on right away, they would hold off on the tear tag until everything is up and running. I'm just a big dummy, though.
