I got a text from the dealer that my 2Dr HE has been scheduled for 2/13 production and been assigned a VIN. Haven‘t seen any communications from Ford. So much for keeping as informed every 45 days….blah, blah. I sent an email to the dealer to request the VIN so I can track, as I totally expect the production date to slip.

Is that a production week or day?

Yeah, it needs a good bath and a little work. He’s so busy that he hasn’t had much time to mess around with it like he used to, but I hope maybe he’ll take a renewed interest in it and let me help him fix it up. Wouldn’t take much at all to get it back on the road. Nothing would make us happier than to see him tooling around town in it again.

Got a couple of pics late this afternoon of my wife’s HEL next to her dad’s ‘78. He didn’t know she was getting it and was surprised when we pulled up in it.

Very cool. Its too bad they don't offer the regular Heritage in Yellowstone.

Is that a production week or day?

She called it a ”build date.” Given it’s a tuesday, I would say it’s the estimated date that the parts come together on the line. Though I totally expect that to slip some, being we are almost two mos out.

I waited 21 months for my Bronco. I received ONE email from Ford, aside from the initial order confirmation. The email I received was a notice telling me that my build would be delayed because of parts shortages and they'd contact me again in 45 days. A week later my Bronco showed up at my dealership. The person that runs the I.T. Dept for Ford should be run out of town with pitchforks. Just sayin'.

Correct, Mod Top with pop out windows (and 2dr gunners hatch) is std on HE. Does come with std bag for front panels.

I paced an order for my Heritage 2 door on 11/20/23 and a few days ago my dealer texted me a Vin and a build date/build week of 2/12/24. Gotta say I'm pretty excited. Is there any trick to getting the order tracker to work? It tells me my Vin is invalid. I'm assuming I'm just being impatient.

Question for the Heritage crowd...has anyone painted a brush guard or IAG Bull Bar white? Or anyone good with Photoshop? I am curious what a white Bull Bar would look like on a Heritage...especially a Race Red one

Ordered my side windows bag today. Forgot that during Black Friday. All my bags are packed (ordered), I’m ready to go! (No more winter). Still a few points left.

Congrats!!! Tracker normally does that on weekends as they update the system and data.

Took advantage of the warm day to pop the top panels and glass out so I could test the storage bags. They all fit like a glove and it's so easy that now I'm really looking forward to spring/summer so I can do it more often.

My Mabett V2 Dashboard USB dock arrived today, so I installed that too.
I ran the power cord for my dashcam to it which I had previously run it all the way to the back of the center console.
