All it means is that these resellers tried to get in on the action, bought up a bunch of broncos at the high mark and now can not offload them without taking a loss.... so no they do not want to purchase anymore at this time.... Are there any listed on their site for sale? at what price?
Yep - the regular trims are 1700 off or so

This is not a good start to Christmas break 😭. Finished wiring up all the lights, put the trim pieces on the bumper and license plate. Didn’t like the license plate location so took it off and went inside for 5 minutes. Neighbor comes knocking that our Bronco is in the ditch! Even though it was in gear, I apparently forgot the ebrake and my driveway incline was too much for compression to hold it.

It was stopped by a tree, tree won. Off to body shop on Tuesday, hopefully parts are available without much wait. Looking on the forum, I’m unfortunately not the first to have this happen. I’ve been driving manual since I learned to drive at 15 and have never had this happen. These pics were taken 16 minutes apart.

Man I’m really sorry to hear that! Good news is that nobody got hurt and that they should be able to fix the damage.

It’s a mistake that anybody could make, and many of us that grew up driving MT’s have made.

Gullo Ford in Conroe, TX has a 4 door 2.7 azure gray Heritage Edition sitting on the lot for MSRP. The guy backed out last minute and they were trying to sell me on it while checking on my Everglades order.

It's a gorgeous combo and would've taken it if it had the manual transmission.

Wow! I was parking in my stepsons driveway which is steep and decided to park in the street. I miss the manual parking brake! I’m not sure I trust the electric parking brake.

Really sorry it happened to you!

Sorry to hear about the accident. I really wish Ford had put a hand brake on the Bronco. It's funny, the Ineos Grenadier that I have on order at the same time as my Bronco has a real hand brake, but doesn't have an MT. If either had both it would be my choice (as it is I'm probably sticking with my 6cyl auto Bronco which is more like the original to me, and letting the Grenadier go)

Yea, the manual parking break would be nice. I’m pretty sure I forgot the parking break and just had it gear, so don’t think I can blame the electronic brake. The damage looks bad but seems pretty straightforward, hit the tree in the headlight area and couldn’t have been going that fast. It’s just a heavy vehicle to force it to abruptly stop.

Now I need to talk to the shop about my front bumper situation and see what they can do. I still have the capable bumper sitting in the garage. All that work undone 15 mins after I finished is a total bummer.

So sorry man, they will fix the rig up good as new but I just hate it for you I know you’ve put a lot of time into that bumper and light setup.

Ugh, man that's a bummer.
I've only had mine 2 weeks and I forgot the parking brake once that I know of. Fortunately, my bronco was still where I had left it.
I definitely think it's easier to forget to set it when it's a switch instead of a big handle.

I grew up driving vehicles in various states of disrepair... so mine is in reverse or crawl any time I park.
With that kind of gear reduction I don't have to worry unless I'm street parking in San Francisco. 🤣

I got a text from the dealer that my 2Dr HE has been scheduled for 2/13 production and been assigned a VIN. Havenā€˜t seen any communications from Ford. So much for keeping as informed every 45 days….blah, blah. I sent an email to the dealer to request the VIN so I can track, as I totally expect the production date to slip.

Got a couple of pics late this afternoon of my wife’s HEL next to her dad’s ā€˜78. He didn’t know she was getting it and was surprised when we pulled up in it.

Damn, someone needs to get to work on that ā€˜78. At least offer it up to a new home for some love! Nice looking 6g.
