Update: Ford Customer Service rep request repair details and cost from the dealer. They gave her a figure of approx $3200 ($2700 for a part that other dealers sell online for $1600) for parts and labor, ABS Master Cylinder Control Booster Module. Rep said she advocated with Ford on my behalf...
wish I had one. Doesn’t seem to be much urgency at this dealer. The Ford Cust Rep did call me and said she spoke to the service advisor and he was supposed to get back to her with more details from the service tech.
I have a Ford Customer Experience rep and a case number now. They are supposed to be investigating the issue with the dealer. Will be patient and hope for the best for now.
2022 Black Diamond with only 12k miles. Went out of warranty in Sept. Battery died when the last cold front came through. Replaced battery and parking brake warning light and traction control warnings start going nuts. Vehicle was running fine when last parked before the battery died. Now...
I noticed this in my 2024 Heritage 2.7. The voltage drops upon acceleration. In my 2022 Blk diamond 2.7 the voltage goes up upon acceleration. Leading me to believe something might be off in the 2024?
I would be surprised if fake engine from the radio would do it.
Or just get rid of that annoying thing all together and replace it with the behind the spare tire brake light? Easy swap and makes washing ever back there a lot easier.
Wow, so nobody at this dealership knows how to use a tape measure? Got a lot full of them for comparison. Those idiots just put the pins in the wrong place.
lol, Audi, BMW (Owned 2) MB (Owned 1). Now you are talking some real expensive POS. Yeah, the interior materials are very nice but under the skin, it’s really cheap shit. That’s why the used values plummet fast.
Duh, I figured it was just one of those features you can’t change. I went in to setting and turned off back up sensors and driver attentive alert. Now I just need to go in and do the seat belt alerts. Thanks
I have done, auto start/stop and double honk. Now looking for a way to disable the "hands on the steering wheel" reminder and the back-up sensor beeps?
This thing tracks so well, I don't have to move the wheel much and I really don't need the annoying beeps cutting out my jams when backing up.
Don’t like it, sell it. A Chrysler product with higher build quality? That’s pretty funny. Ford has been making cheap plastic interiors for a long time now. This is nothing new. But these things drive better and will last longer than any POS Chrysler product out there.
To me, the body already is a trail sight so I put the black Dee zee deletes on my carbonized gray BD. With some adjustment, look ok. Now I need some for the race red heritage. Won’t someone make color matched accessories for these things? Even if just plastic instead of aluminum would be ok...
