Very thankful I'm not on the hook for one of these. The whole idea of putting down a deposit for a top didn't sit right with me.We present to you the first ADV Modular production unit, VERY exciting! We can certainty say that we are beyond impressed and happy with the finished production unit. We are DEFINITELY giving Ford a run for their money. Production is moving along VERY quickly ever since we tested, validated, and approved the prototype for production.
We will be taking more content in the coming weeks! Please let us know if we can answer any questions, we are happy to help!

It looks like I could stick my arm through the gap between the rear glass and the rest of the top. Even if it was $1,000, I don't think I'd be interested in that top. What a scam!
A Rally Top at $4k isn't looking so bad after all. And it's AVAILABLE. They also re-designed their back window (see pic below) which was a big turn off for many. I'm not saying this is a good top, but it's the cheapest, available, and would work for many who just need a seasonal hard top.

So I went onto the ADV website to ask the question and they were very evasive and didn’t give me a straight answer…. Sorry for the typos…

Maybe they waiting for the leftover hardtops from the Broncos that are made in China.
Wow, my post got some attention. That video really opened a can of worms. Curious how they will bypass country of origin, probably with “substantial transformation” depending on the amount of final assembly.Okay, I dug a little into this because I’m fascinated at this point. The manufacturer they use to build these hardtops is clearly based in Asia.
What you’re looking at is likely the same iPhone 6 video the manufacturer sent to ADV. They took that awful horizontal video, matched the same aspect ratio to make it appear as if they are one seamless operation.
How do I know? Take a peek at the safety signage around the hardtops and heavy machinery. Also pay attention to the newspaper wrapping around one of the hardtop pieces.
ADV’s video content is primo quality, this would be no exception, unless it’s not their video.
Nothing wrong with designing here, manufacturing there, but my gosh this appears deceptive.
Super simple answer here. Your hardtops are not here, they are either at the manufacturer overseas, or staging at a port, about to go into a container.
They are advertising how amazing their stuff is all over this forum and have gone off the deep end on Facebook advertising too - yet not a single roof has been shipped - not one. I have that in writing from them - as of this week - they refuse to commit to a date - nobody should be sending them a dime at this point. How can they yap less? They haven't posted anything...
