Any consensus on which tailgate reinforcement has performed best?

This one? I'm super suprised it's not like 1200$. Seems everything decent for the Bronco starta at 1200$

Yes, great price, and they offer a B6G discount. In fact, I was impressed enough watching the install video and the fork lift video that I ordered one. I had been holding out for a rear bumper swing gate, but I really like what this one does. As long as the tub is strong enough to support the weight, I don't see it ever being over stressed.

Have some questions for the Turn Offroad carrier.

Have a First Edition and am planning on putting some 37’s on my stock wheels. Will there be enough space to clear the stock bumper if I just instal the carrier? Or will I also need a relocation bracket? Preference is to keep the stock stock spare tire holder and just mount it to the new Turn carrier.

Hi there! Yes there will be enough space for a 37 and the stock bumper. You can keep the stock carrier it will just put your tire and whee around 2” further out than it sits now because of the space that the tire carrier takes up behind the assembly. Let me know if you have any other questions thanks!!

Has any of these companies that make a reinforcement claim how much weight can now be used with their kit. All seems like snake oil if none claim a weight.

I mean, Turn did lift the back end of their bronco by the spare tire…

Yes and on those late night infomercials a oil company ran gravel in a engine and showed how it didn't harm anything because their oil was the best...so are you going to run gravel in your engine?

Settle down. At least they have proof of testing what their product can do. That’s the most I’ve seen from any of these companies.

Great thread with lots of good information for anyone solving this issue. Based on the feedback, specs and comparison pricing, I thought the Turn solution rose to the top. Called them, asked a quick question or two, told them I was calling from the 6G forum and wound up ordering the rear tire carrier at a discounted price. There are definitely less expensive options, but I think with this offering from Turn, I know exactly where the extra money went and why it was worth it to me. Thanks to everyone contributing for the great thread. I'll post feedback once I get to use it some.

After seeing @kodiakisland ’s tire carrier in person, that’s the one I’m going with. Maybe for Christmas to myself. 🤣
