Newbie question about hood tie-downs

So all the non-sport Broncos have the hood tie-downs, but not all trim levels have the roof rack. If you don't have the roof rack, what good are the hood tie-downs?

They’re for limb risers. I’m pretty sure any trim can get a roof rack added if the owner wants it also.

The limb riser kit I saw had a quick disconnect at the trail site before you open the hood.
