Bronco build week 8/7/2023

Does anyone know what items make the build go to the MOD shop? I know Towing package does and the Modular bumper. Does the hardtop or anything else?

I got towing on mine so I think that in part why mine is still "in production" but not sure.

My Bronco has intermediate arrival today in Portsmouth, OH at 9:47am. Wonder if RA32 is Winston Salem in NC?

Looks like ours were very close to each other on the line and I also had badlands with the tow package and mod bumper. I’m fairly certain both require trip to the mo shop. @lexiegilb mentioned that he had those also and based on the spreadsheet it seems like it took 5 day for his to progress from the blend date to built. We’re not quite that far out yet given the Sunday in the middle. Hopefully we progress in the next day or two. When did your tear tag pop? Not sure if that means ours our truly built and out of the woods when it comes to part shortages and things like that. I‘m assuming that it doesn’t go to the mod shop until after you have a tear tag.

My tear tag popped up super quick. The ford app shows that it just needs someone to accept the activation to work so I know it’s built but just trying to figure out why it’s been hung up in production for a week and a half. I’m decently patient but more curious than anything.

Took A few days for my tear tag to show up but i did try to activate fire pass and have the same message also. I leave for vacation next Friday for 9 days so I’d just be happy to have it a week or so after I get back.

i was lucky enough that someone approved the activation so i can track it via the ford pass app...

however, now its even more painful to sit and refresh it constantly lol.

for someone that may be more of a subject matter expert than myself. does the ford pass app gps function still respond back if it doesn't have a good connection, or will it error out? reason i ask is i tracked the truck from the lot onto the train tracks over the past weekend, but now it hasn't updated its location since then.

so i'm thinking it either has been sitting there until the train is full and the truck's gps is able to respond back to my pings, OR the truck can't communicate since it is possibly in a big metal box and its just reporting back the last position.

i guess i could try some of the other functions i have available via the app (start the engine, lock, honk the horn, etc.) to test connectivity, but that doesn't seem...wise.

i haven't reached out to find out the rail car tracking info due to the gps tracking, and i'm trying to not give me too many distractions from real work lol. so more of a curiosity on how the app works at this point.

The email I received from marketing doesn’t acknowledge the fact that Quality Control hasn’t released my build as complete and still projects that I’ll receive my Bronco August 26-September 1 event though someone said they are waiting for a part the won’t be in until August 26 and then I have to wait until September 1 to get finished. Like take the part from another build, shove mine back in line, and finish my build.

thats BS nobody can tell what the issue is. They know full well why it’s sitting there….and 100% guarantee it’s documented in their system what it’s waiting for… or it wouldn’t be sitting there in the first place. Ford seems to fail a lot at really simple things that would make a customers experience WAY better.

I agree, first in first out…. They need to find the part for yours.

However , still not shipped still hanging out at built with others after me already shipped and coming in the same direction. Not sure how any of it works or if anything happens after the official billy status . Or… it has shipped and the tracker just hasn’t updated which is also a huge possibility lol

You could chat with ford and ask for railcar number. They should be able tell you if it’s on it’s way to your dealer.
