i put an amazon list together last year-ish since TD wasn't an option anymore. looks like it's still intact if you need/want it.
bronco tie rod kit
link to the thread cause there is some other good stuff in there you might be interested in.
like one of the other posters said, there is virtually no public land in texas... and bridgeport, while fun, feels like you are constantly bumping into folks and its probably not what you are hoping for.
highly recommend making a long weekend of things up in OK or AR. some good trails like what...
thanks.
for posterity's sake, here is an Amazon list that i "replicated".
i wasn't aiming to make it full of "the best" of these tools, just enough to get it done or what actually matched the kit (from what i could tell).
bronco tie rod kit
anyone have any aftermarket tie rod suggestions? just enough for repair and careful return while out on the trail?
the OEM one is fairly expensive (imo, and compared to the one that used to come in the kit suggested in the thread (McQuay-Norris ES3234 tie rod)) to then probably buy upgraded...
I checked to see if anyone had provided a link yet, but I found this one when trying to put together my own kit like the one suggested in the thread.
Just need to find a link ot a legit site for the tie rod now...
Amazon.com: MT MORTECDTA Tie Rod Puller Universal Tie Rod End & Heavy Duty Ball...
They are the IAG v2 EZ steps. No complaints about them and had them on for a few months now. Super easy to install also for anyone that has the OEM rock rails.

Nothing crazy, or flashy, I’m a simple man. 2” lift bilstein 6112, ford performance method 703s, 285/75r17 Toyo open country AT3. I still have the BD steelies if anyone in NTX is interested in those.
Soft top all the way. North Texas so as soon as it hits the upper 60s the windows come out and I go Safari mode till it starts freezing again so I can flip it to any position at a whim, anywhere I happen to be.
have a 23 soft-top black diamond.
i'm almost positive i know the corner and cable you are talking about. if you want to include a timestamp on the video that might help and get more responses.
i was putting the corner under/behind the cable already just because it seemed like a more natural...

I'll be perfectly honest, they told me once when I was there and then I promptly forgot. I think it was on the higher end to try and get it as close to the 2" as possible. Basically, mimicking the Ford Performance kit.
Tires aren't too far out from getting put on, so when I'm there I'll ask and...
I happened to have a quote from them for just install (if i were to source my own parts), and it was $875 for the labor (5 hrs) and $155 for the alignment. sourced the parts through them and they knocked $100 off the labor.
got a couple different quotes from other shops and even a couple...
Wife and I spent the morning over at Northwest OHV in Bridgeport before the heat cranked up. I know it's probably old news, but there are new listeners every day, right?
Great place to break in your truck, and in my case the 2 month old coilovers, and learn how it handles. Varying difficulties...
just went with my wife to vegas 3 weeks ago. wonderful experience, highly recommend it for anyone that hasn't used their VIN yet. diego and trevor are fantastic.
we made it a week long vacation and did the off-roadeo on friday. overall it was a warm and sunny week, really really nice. i don't...
i'll throw my 2 cents into the ring and say that i'm happy i didn't go with a hard top, but my circumstances may differ. i remember going back and forth a lot on this when i was ordering my '23 BD, so hopefully this helps any future folks that come across this post.
i live in a predominately...
Just wanted to cross-post this in case anyone misses it and is a collector or interested in music. Hopefully that is ok in this forum. If not, feel free to remove.

Hopefully this is a good place to put this....
Wanted to raise some awareness to the TPWF putting out an album which benefits from the proceeds. It includes some well known names, and lots of unknown (to me) artists putting their spin on some classic Texas music.
I'm sure nobody will like...
