I am in wonder of how long commercials were back then! Have to say that 66 was rolling over some terrain, and not taking it easy!

Can you imagine trying to lift the spare tire every time you wanted to close the tail gate.....Nah, the swing gate is far superior to a tailgate. Reaching past a tailgate to get anything out of the back is an unnecessary pain in the ass. Not to mention how much more usable space you get by having a swing gate with a folding table.

Possibly a commercial that played at the movie theater? that would be my guess.I am in wonder of how long commercials were back then! Have to say that 66 was rolling over some terrain, and not taking it easy!
Follow and pick his brain as he is building a 2.3 1G from the frame up (during winter when one doesn't die from the heat of summer). His IG is mixed between his 1G and 6G. (https://www.instagram.com/berry_custom_machine/)I did. Well, the 6G is still here until I get it polished up but I've mentally moved on already. The idea of a 2.3 1G excites me far more right now.![]()
AM Radio!Awesome video.
I'm really glad I opted to upgrade for the 2022 Bronco armrests and radio! LOL
I don't have IG but I've seen some of his build elsewhere. I found the choice of Mustang trans curious, if doing auto a Ranger takeout would have made more sense. For me I'm going with a AX15, Quick Draw makes an adapter.Follow and pick his brain as he is building a 2.3 1G from the frame up (during winter when one doesn't die from the heat of summer). People read books back in the day and were used to slow speed info. Mostly though I think they knew people had to get up from their chair to manually change a channel and figured they could go longer.Possibly a commercial that played at the movie theater? that would be my guess.
Unfortunatly I am old enough to remember.... But I do not remember any commercials that were 11 min long. I am old enough to remember live commercials on TV.... I also remember commercials like this one (not specifically this one) in the movie theater. My parents would tell me about watching news reels before a movie..... I am not THAT old.People read books back in the day and were used to slow speed info. On a swingout carrier like the Bronco did for ages.I would’ve liked a fold down tailgate, but I get why that wasn’t possible. It would’ve been nice on a 2 door, but a pain fir the Moar Door, plus, where are you going to store a 35” tire and rim?
True, my Bronco II had one, but it eventually ended up ripping the tailgate and that was with a stock tiny tire/wheel. Not saying it’s not possible, but it’d be something the aftermarket crowd would handle, like we see on todays Jeeps. On a swingout carrier like the Bronco did for ages.
