Another 2d manual down. Everyone loves the idea of a 2d manual but they get old day to day.
Mine has definitely not gotten old. Still love driving it as much as when I first got it.

About a week and a half ago on the Oregon coast - learned how useless a prybar is AND how useful tin snips are.

I have a thing for crashing into concrete pony walls that I don't see. The source of ALL 3 of my collisions in the last 20 years or so. Just didn't see it (or they put it in while I was stopped!)

Pushed the bumper back to where it was rubbing the tire. Prybar was useless as most of the back of the capable bumper is plastic. Soo - tin snips to the rescue (pic #2). Continued on with our vacation as normal, and not even noticing the damage from inside the rig! Aside from a slight misalignment in the bottom body colored panel between the bumper and grill, no damage seems to have been done to any body work. The fog light even works still too. I suspect I'll need to straighten out a bracket to get that peice ligned up perfectly again..

Now I have an excuse (rather than just a desire) to upgrade the bumper - which puts it higher on the things to buy list!

Replaced my door sill protectors. The ones I bought were starting to shread on the driver's side. So they were not holding up well. Picked up these, shorter, but actually go down the sill, protect, and has the 1966 logo. Also goes better with the Ford Performance.

Had to go with the classic 6" halogens...

Since Ford couldn't fulfill my order correct with aux switches, I had to build my own

Do you have a whistling sound from your ditch lights I did when I did the small square ones so I took them off

No, haven't noticed any extra noise...but usually I have the driver window crack for air, so I always have road noise. Definitely no whistling sounds
