I kept them leather and like the look just fine. I think the covers could be swapped but can’t say 100% because there is a little bit of a slit in the leather headrest covers to account for adjustable angle. Flip’s follow up posts to this question lists the optionsThanks. I will definitely be looking into ordering the set for my Wildtrak! Did you recover to match your existing cloth seats, or kept it leather covered?
Have you tried downshifting? j/kFord performance tune and Pedal Commander on my 2.3 7mt completely transformed it. It’s very peppy now and I can actually pass cars in 6th gear on the highway![]()
For sures! I got the OEM mats with my Ford points.I haven't done much, but honestly good floor mats on drivers/passengers side are an absolute must. I'm in sandy/dirt lots a lot and they are so easy to clean.
Nice! I’m sold! Where did you purchase the Ford Performance Tune? I want to look into making the purchase. No other changes just put a new clean oem air filter in and oem exhaust. Did it myself in about 15 minutes. Purchased it with discount at Lethal. Ford states that an ASE mechanic has to do it for warranty. I think they would have a hard time proving in court that the only tune available that you can download and install makes any difference based on who pushes the button. Also you save your stock tune so always can go back...not sure why but maybe if you mess up some how. Also exhaust sounds better with tune! I was going to get an aftermarket cold air but not sure it would do any better. It is so good now.
bronco buster front tie rod up gradeWhat is the best modification that you have made to your Bronco that you think others would also enjoy? For me it is easy, I added 6.5 inch back speakers. SSV Works has a rear pod replacement that converts the rear speakers to 6.5 inch Kicker speakers. I then added 4 inch Kicker speakers to the front dashboard. This has greatly improved the sound quality. Also, it was a super easy install, since they are plug and play on the rear speaker pod swap.
Yes! I also added the IAG soft top struts. Makes it so much easier to get stuff in and out. I also installed hood struts.IAG soft top struts. Should have come from the factory with struts on the soft top. The little prop bar is ghetto.
What did it do to your gas mileage? I know owning a Bronco isn't about MPG, but I am already at 17mpg with the manual. If I add lots of horsepower and pay $3-5 more per fill-up but also go from 17mpg to 14mpg, the "smiles per mile" won't offset the decreased range (for me, YMMV).Go Lakers! The Broncos should come with the tune installed with the extra power and much smoother Trans shifts and more low end power...but they are set for 87 octane and ok specs for the masses (cant require premium from the factory or most people would lose their minds). Spend $5-$7 more a fill up for premium gas and install the tune and it becomes a different machine and you will wonder how you lived without it!
I agree, I got the tune for the 2.7 recently and it made a significant difference. Huge improvement in drivability. It accelerates more smoothly, has more low end power, and it shifts far better. It also calibrated my speedo to the new tire size (33" upgraded to 35"). It's hard to say how much the tune vs. the correct speedo change effected the MPGs, but I am getting 3 MPGs better now compared to before the tune. I was already running premium fuel in it, so that aspect didn't bother me.Ford Performance Tune. It's is like taking a GT Mustang and making it a GT500 Shelby. Upset I wasted 9k miles of avg 2.7l Bronco driving before installing in 15 minutes.
That's really cool. I'm digging the name. Add the performance tune and your flaming hotI have lots of mods, but the most entertaining by far is the Oracle light up letters. I've seen a couple others since doing mine, such as BTRCUP and MAEPRL - hoping to see more in the future!

I considered it, but I've been using a Sprint Booster for some time now and it really scoots when I want it to. Takes away all the throttle lag and puts the power down much quicker when you want it to.That's really cool. I'm digging the name. Add the performance tune and your flaming hot
Mine is actually getting better MPGs with the tune. Now that the speedo is correct to the larger tire size, I am getting 17.6 MPGs out of the 2.7. That is better than before when I had the stock 33" tires on it. Only downside is the need to run premium fuel, but I was already doing that. I will carry a can of race-gas with me just incase I am at a fuel stop that does not have premium. What did it do to your gas mileage?
