My order was confirmed- now what?!

Ford confirmed my Outer Banks order last week 4/12/23. Roughly how long does it take to hear from Ford on an estimated production date?

The thing is....you could literally get a build date tomorrow....or you may not get your Bronco until 2026. I've been waiting a year and a half and I'm one of the newbies. Then, if your dealer doesn't try to screw you out of price protection or play the ole switcheroo and decide to charge you an ADM, and your engine, transmission or top doesn't undergo a stop sale, you'll be enjoying that Bronco in no time.

Sounds like you need to spend more time reading and less time posting. Like Rick said, don't be afraid to search.

I've spent more than time than you know searching Google. At this point, I am wanting to know when I will hear from Ford again- not necessarily when my vehicle will be delivered. I've found nothing about the time in between order confirmation and build notification. I wasn't sure if they would send me an email telling me I'm a year away or something like that.

MIC is a constraint.
No scheduling tomorrow.

If your dealer only has 1 allocation left behind yours then that means there are most likely a bunch of orders in front of you. And with your highly constrained build it is not likely for you to jump over them. Remember, their remaining allocations need to stretch out over the rest of the model year which ends in October.

The question is whether or not your dealer will still have allotments left for all 3 constraints when your time is near or will they just be down too floppy topped high packaged non-Squatches. While we have seen people get scheduled rather quickly, I think you are in for a long haul.

You will not hear from Ford again until your vehicle is scheduled.

Feel free to get your hopes up every Thursday until November.

If you are not scheduled by then you will need to order a 2024.

I ordered in October of 21, received my first and email in Oct of 22 (scheduled), then one after I had it at home.

Best case 6 months, worst case years or never. I would go find one off the lot that matches. Your order has way to many constraints, your going to be at least a year if not longer.

Thank you- that is the kind of timeframe that I was expecting. It would be nice if Ford would send an email that said "your build is 9 months out". That way expectations are set and people wouldn't be wringing their hands in anticipation! How do you like your Bronco? Any regrets?

Unfortunately, you're playing the 'long game' with this one. The best advice is Be Patient. The next thing you will hear from Ford is that it's been scheduled for production. As they said, those notes come out in batches and the scheduled date will be several weeks away. Read the thread posted here:

Stay positive- I know Ford is working to catch up on orders. One would have to think it’s a good sign that they’ve left the order bank open.
