You going to install both? Because you bought both or because it may help that side too??

I’m just trying to be ready for Moab
Might as well. Doubt I can before Moab though but I'm not too worried.

When I seen the cjpony post with it for 29 I thought damn I paid 50. But then I thought could you imagine the same feeling if you just bought the BB bushing for $350. I still feel really good about the purchase from RC. 😁

I still want to see a work bench comparison of the two plus an install/fitment comparison side by side. See how close the Chinese knockoff got the fit.

Doesn’t have a o-ring that tears when you install it for that super snug fit but I bet it going to work just as good. Guess will all see here soon.

Nice find...think I'm in as well. And it's simple BB needs to pay for all the stuff he breaks somehow!

I don't fault the guy just like I don't fault 84 weld....they just made business decisions I don't agree with.
Is 84weld now the new name of 74weld?

Damn… inflation’s hitting everything these days!

The bronc bushing is only the drivers side. The rc kit does both sides.
You know I wasn't really sure what I was looking at. I saw the picture with two bushings and figured it might have been two different angles or something.

I mean I always wondered why BB didn't make a bushing for the other side and instead develop an entire end piece.

Can this really be a simple as adding a bushing to both sides?

Dang! So, BB is $350 for one side. Yikes. That’s some expensive petroleum.

I am thinking about it. I have a guy, with a uninstalled BB bushing.

Fyi the oblong shape section is the only part supporting the steering shaft. The front part is machined to fit inside and only servers as the retainer for the snap ring.

Passenger side might not be as desirable as it may transfer more energy to the housing (weak point). However it should help prevent wear and tear on the steering assist belt and parts.

I do not think these are lifetime parts and may need to be swapped out as they get worn and beaten.

If you buy the BB, ship it to me I’ll measure them and send it back to you

Sounds about right. Look at this wear. I know Derek personally and he was not hard on his Bronco when I wheeled with him.

The wear might be due to his lift height/tie rod angle?
