Ordered as well in the event they get a cease and desist. Looking forward to your guys installs. With the BB they include some install tool to hammer the bushing in but the RC one doesn’t. Wondering if this will become a problem.

as for “RC is Chinese crap” I mean maybe, something tells me a tiny plastic bushing is going to have zero difference in quality between a USA made one. If you can afford 700% more on an American made piece of plastic then more power to you. The only RC thing I own is my Bimini top (was $80 versus $200-300) and I’m EXTREMELY satisfied with it.
Is there a patent on the BB piece? No, then no worries.

Either unit is a copy of the factory bushing with tighter tolerances, right?

Bonus points to the first person with a side to side comparison.

For $50, it’ll go in the tool roll for when/if a tie rod eventually fails.

A search on the US PATENT site shows

US-11584434-B1

The tie rod braces

I see no other patent under Broncbuster

I gave CJs a chance, $41 delivered. Now we wait.

Looks like BB uses an O-ring and RC does not. I bet RC doesn't fit as tight either, hence no need for a driver.

I won't comment much on BB but I'd like to think I have a much different approach to supporting the community and I'm on record many times being anti Bronco tax. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Going to be a hard battle to win when your case is based on a steering bushing. BB may not even own the patent since he doesn't actually make the part, he is just the face. I feel more comfortable buying from rough country anyways, BB keeps staging stunts to drum up more attention.

This is a must have upgrade in my book. I really regret not getting a bushing before destroying my stock steering rack.

O-ring doesn't touch anything, it's false advertising that part of the bushing actually touches metal.

So OOC, can’t you knock the outer tie rod out then remove the inner as one piece, put the sleeve in and not mess up the alignment?

Sure can.
You going to install both? Because you bought both or because it may help that side too??

I’m just trying to be ready for Moab
