Another update, I installed some Amazon fog lights and made a little video on it in case anyone is a visual person and wanted to see the bits and bobs. I don't go overly in detail but should give you a good enough idea on the major parts.

Can anyone clarify this info in Forscan? What does CKT mean in "FrontFog Ckt With Turn?" Or what to change to get the fogs to stay on when the turn signals are activated? I'm not sure what module value that is, I'm thinking either the CKT one or "Front Fog Auto Cancel."

Even after reading page after page of how to wire fog lights to the Badlands mod bumper with Lux, I still had questions, so I thought I'd post pics for anyone else trying this. This assumes you have the factory wiring harness/plug buried in your bumper.

Remove the plastic covers over the recover points and you can easily access the factory harness connector. It's held in place by a plastic clip which is kind of a bitch to release, but keep at it from the backside and you can get it to release. I cut off the factory connector and used waterproof soldered butt connectors to splice in a new black and red wire that would reach the new Diode Dynamics fog lights. The yellow with orange stripe is the + for the passenger side and the brown is + for the driver side.

I didn't have the proper Deutsch style wiring connectors to plug my new red and black wires into the existing Deutsch connector, so I just cut the (+ and -) wires coming out of the connector, leaving a pigtail, and used another pair of waterproof soldered butt connectors to tie the wiring together. This also allowed me to leave the existing purple wire untouched, which powers the backlights and merges with all of the other purple wires and leads to a fuse tap I added to the fuse box.

Tonight I'll be in Forscan enabling the settings for the new factory Fog light switch I replaced to actually make them work.

Edit to add the switch I ordered - M2DZ-11654-DA. Took about 10 days for delivery through my local dealership. I don't have an interest in rear fogs, so this one is perfect.

Forscan Update:
I pulled the Forscan settings from this post in the massive fog lights thread. To summarize:
BdyCM Configuration
  • Front fog lamps - change this to "Enabled".
  • Fog Lamp Switch - change this to "Enabled"
  • Using Front Fog With High Beam - "Allowed"
IPC
  • Front fog lamps - change this to "Enabled"
BdyCM (As-Built Configuration)
  • 726-42-01-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx - Change the green value to 0101
Worth noting that my Forscan extended license expired and apparently you can't renew due to the Russian/Ukranian conflict. Forscan wouldn't let me read the modules, however, I saw in another forum that you can change the date of your Windows laptop to a previous date that was within your 2 month license. That worked perfectly and allowed me to make all the changes. Fog light button works great and the icon lights up in the dash display when in use.

Here's the headlights only vs. "Everything on". By the way, I didn't think I'd love the amber backlighting as much as I do. They look awesome.
@Diode Dynamics everything, sourced from Panda Motorworks :
  • SS3 Sport Amber fogs
  • SS2 Pro white combo
  • SS2 Sport white driving

I have black diamond 2023 with. Arable bumper. I changed to a dab fours winch bumper which has cutouts for two 5 inch led fog lights. The packaging says the lights are 60 watts combined which is about 5 amps at 12 volts if my math is right I connected them to the factory harness and the fog light switch on the dash seems to work just fine
Interestingly when I connected an amp meter both lights only pulled 3+ amps x combined. Although the factory fog light seem to be a lot lighter draw, the wiring seems to be at least 16 gauge and that should be ok for a 5 amp draw. Although I still can’t find the fuse for the fog light circuit I am guessing it’s at least 5 amps to support the wiring that isn’t the factory harness

There is no fuse for the fog light circuit. It uses a FET internal to the BCM.

Would my '22 Black Diamond V6 w/MID Pkg have the factory fog wires?

When I ordered mine March 2022 the capable bumper w/Fogs became standard since Ford changed the 2022 Black Diamond having the MOD Steel Bumper as a "standard to optional". I opt'd for the MOD Steel bumper of course so that took away the fogs. I wonder though if it still has the wiring. I did pull the plastic cover off the tow hook spot and I didn't see any loose connector but I did see some plugs connected to each other on the driver side. Anyone know if that is it?

My light switch doesn't have the fog light icon either.

Will be doing this also. I have the AUX switches but would much prefer to have it working through the fog light switch as if it were stock from the factory like that. Looks cleaner and dont need to mess with the aux. thanks!!!

For my Lux I used Hella 2.7 Cubes (which come with a 2-pin Deutsch), 4x4LEDTruck's MX150 to Deutsch adapters, a factory fog headlight switch. It all plugged in, is weatherproof, and works perfectly once you turn on the foglights in ForScan, I just need to spacer them a bit.

Do you have front park aid sensors in the bumper? I’m guessing no, because I think that was only High package and above.

If you don’t have the park aid sensors, then you don’t have fog light wiring behind the modular bumper

I think so are these the connectors for park aid sensor and is that black box in the middle of the bumper the aid sensor?

No. Park aid is the 4 small sensors on the front face of the bumper.

Looks like you do not have them. Which means you do not have fog light wiring behind the bumper.

Well damn I was hoping I had the wiring but I do have sensors on my rear bumper. Darn so I'd have to tap into the harness then.

Yep. But in all honesty, it’s not too difficult to tap into the harness and run wiring to the bumper. Just a little more work.

I think you could also buy the harness that normally goes behind the bumper, but last time I looked it was like $70, so not really cost effective.

Well my Bronco does have the Rear Sensors so does that mean it might have the Rear Fog Light Connectors? I will have to look if someone posted where the rear fog connector is.

If so then I could just run wires from that connector or find where it connects to the main harness in theory?

I've been following this thread about factory fog lights too.

No broncos in the US have the rear fog light connector. That’s only for foreign countries that use a rear fog light.
