With an 11/23/22 build date and having taken delivery 2 weeks ago, what now?

Guess I hope the dealership contacts or I get an email from Ford……. Ohh man.
It’s still advanced notice. So there is no directed repair yet. Once there is, you’ll get a notice from Ford

My door jamb sticker says "11/22" for date, is there a way to tell when in November mine was built?

My blend date is 20221128 so definitely falls into that range.

It’s not going to show anything yet. Still advanced notice.
Ah ok so it's too soon for dealers to tell. You, flip, and some others would know this for sure.

The only other Ford recall I've gotten was the backup camera for my Mustang and that's a non-issue.

Correct. I can see your build date if I had your VIN, but until there is an actual directed repair, this is basically just Ford letting dealers know of an upcoming recall.

And honestly I don’t see this being a very big deal. If it wasn’t for the very small chance it could block the park pawl, the bolt probably really wouldn’t damage anything by just floating around in the pan or wherever it is.

My Bronco has a 12/1 build date, but it hung out at MAP for about 53 days after that. That seems like it was a relatively common occurrence at that time. Is it possible that they were addressing these issues at that time or was that delay just part and parcel of normal shipping woes?

Darn. 11/21/22 here. Thought I had avoided having to deal with recalls when I traded my 22 Badlands in (windshield recall). Now have to look up my wife’s build date too.

LOL!

You do know that there is a recall for the Manual also right?
Worse, a TSB that does nothing and still no real solution.

Hey, maybe we have extra bolts rolling around in there too, sure sounds like it.

not in the group but my wifes 2017 Escape had a recall similar to this a few months back. We got her car back in less than a day. Granted apples to oranges maybe.
Interesting. This must be the recall I received a text message about from my dealer, just today. Fortunately for me I sold it back in September of '21. :ROFLMAO:
