it looks like there is a new hard top shortage as many recent MY23 are being built and modules populate online, however on hold due to hard top shortage. My salesman also confirmed.

Easy, they have defective tops on them now. So they sit with a broken top until a replacement comes. So if this was actually true and not "My Dealer Said", how would they store the Broncos without a top on it? It's not like there are acres and acres on indoor storage to be had.
I've seen several built and shipped recently with hard tops so they certainly have some.
It’s happened before.Easy, they have defective tops on them now. So they sit with a broken top until a replacement comes.
Mine was delivered at about the same time as yours. (Ice Mountain Child) Noticed 3 small hair line cracks under the passenger window last night. Not noticeable yet in the direct sunlight. Pulled into the garage and used the phone flashlight and there they were! WTF!Cant wait to take mine in for the hairline cracking.![]()
It's insane they ever allowed those on the original build and price.I’ve been waiting on my black modular top for a while now……,,
After 8 from build date months I'd rate my hardtop as pretty damn decent. If I ever do get cracks, I hope it's after they have figured out how to make a better version and get it under warranty.I waited 930+ days for my Bronco with a hard top.
It does not squeak or have any cracks or other issues at all.
I am so so glad I waited for the hard top. I can not imagine daily life with the soft top.
3 years later and still yet to even see a real one. This is how you know Ford doesn't know WTF they are doing. It's insane they ever allowed those on the original build and price.
I went from wanting the white mod top to ordering the black one (when you could) and then 99d my order for 2 years waiting to finally get my white top!I’ve been waiting on my black modular top for a while now……,,
