so when you rotate the coil reversing the mounting holes, the shock is now at a different angle slightly from original?
Yes, increases clearance for tie rod and boot.

@Dusty at ICON

I’ve read thru this thread and searched the internet and still can’t find some answers.

1) SASQUATCH coilovers have built in bump stops.What does ICON stage 6,7,8 have?

2) If going 37s, what exact Up Travel Limiters do I need? Where are the located? How to install?

3) The spring interference issues in front were quite a read!!!! Now that we’re in February 2023, what bandaids are still required to make work on a Badlands non-SAS? How does the ICON new tie rod help this issue? I never fully understood the “moving lower joint aft”?!?! This didn’t move the 2 lower bolts of the Coilover did it? LCA skids depend on those bolts NOT moving.
I think @rtaylor covered everything except that last part of your question 3, regarding installation of your LCA skids The location of the bar pin bolts does not change, however we include new bar pin bolts that insert from the bottom rather than the top like the stock ones. I don't know anything about the skids you're using but that might be something for you to look into, if you're set on using our components with theirs.

RCI Offroad skids say to reinstall the 2 nuts using a 18mm deep socket. It doesn’t list the diameter of the hole in the protective bar but I can find out. If your new bolt head says use 18mm socket, it’ll fit

The bar pin bolts that come with our coilovers are 7/16-14 X 2.75 Grade 8 hex head cap screws. They use a 5/8 wrench or socket, which is slightly smaller than 16mm so it sounds like you're good on socket clearance. The only other wildcard is I'm not sure if the bolts are long enough to accomodate the thickness of that plate. But worst case scenario is you grab some 1/4" longer grade 8 bolts from the hardware store if you have to.

IMHO this (red circle) is a fatal flaw and even the bolt reversal only a bandaid. ICON should move the lower perch UP and redesign the spring accordingly.

I have not. I really didn’t think they would do anything other than tell me I should have kept them clean.

No, that is a definite warranty issue with defective plating. Contact them and get a new set headed your way. While you're at it, ask for the sway bar drop components if you got your coilovers before we started adding those to the kits. Actually the replacement set will come with those anyhow. That will give you the tie rod clearance too.

Updated and sorry about that…Forgot where we were in the threads… 😊
Thanks. Now, to address your comment:

I'm not sure why you consider flipping the bar pin around 180 degrees is a "bandaid". The lower shock mount is offset on the bar pin by our own design. We initially had it slightly forward of center, in order to clear the sway bar joint. When we learned that some people were getting contact with the tie rod at full lock (and not able to install aftermarket braces), we simply changed the installation instructions to flipping the lower bar pin around, so the lower shock mount is now slightly rearward of center rather than slightly forward. It only moves it about a half inch. Plus we added the swaybar drop to the kit to gain back the clearance between the coilover and the swaybar.

I think a raise in the lower perch would have been a more elegant fix and keep factory locations of everything. When I started hearing about grinding parts, etc it just felt bandaidee.
