It's a horrible, antiquated system. That "private offer" should be visible in your Ford Account. Too much of the process relies on the dealer and manual data entry.
What you qualify for is easily obtained. Ford has a page on their website explaining in detail. There was some extremely bad info going on this thread yesterday but didn't feel like jumping into it, most of the time it gets straighten out...eventually.

The dealer CANNOT change or take part of YOUR private offer, it is your money, your store credit with Ford. What the dealer can do is adjust their price upward which in effect does the same thing, this is the reason to have an agreement in place for the price. Anyone that "orders" a vehicle, waits till it comes in, then walks into the dealer asking "ok, what do I pay" is asking to be taken advantage of.

My advice is know what you are "owed" by Ford and make sure your dealer/salesperson abides. Be nice and professional during the whole process. Most of the time the salesperson does not know or forgets, they sale more than just this one product.

Last year when I built my Bronco on Ford’s website(and placed my order) the SAS option also automatically added the auto transmission into the build.

Now when I build the same bronco on Fords website, the trans stays manual with the SAS package and I have to “pay” 1750$ CAD more for the auto trans.

Do I now have to fork that extra 1700$ CAD?

Am I missing something here?
The Sasquatch upgrade cost should be lower to reflect that it doesn't include the auto transmission. When you configured your Bronco at that earlier date, it likely was before the "ManSquatch" (manual transmission Saquatch) was an available configuration.

I think the pulling of allocation forward to cover 2023 demand will be to make sure that customers who change their orders and remove the 3 sins will get a Bronco. E.G. a dealer has allocation for 50 units this year and 60 customers all end up with orders that don't have the three big sins. Those will get built. Much less likely that Ford will move a dealers 2024 allocation to build a Bronco with the sins.

@Zach@Granger: I haven't seen an email from you all about any of this, but I have a Heritage Edition on order. Guess that means my only "sin" is the sasquatch tires.

Do you all have any guidance for the HEs? Or are they more likely to get built than a WT due to not having the MIC top?

Priority 2 means your order is COVP approved. Which is a very good thing, your dealer did their job.

It means nothing in regards to whether you will be built or not.
Hmm...at least that's somewhat positive in my favor... but then is there any real difference between priority 17, 10, and 2?

I previously read 10 was some sort of highest dealer selectable priority, and since my order moved from 99 to 19 to 17, to 2, I thought maybe the descending numbers as scheduling approached made sense.

If 19, 17, and 2 are all just numbers that indicate COVP approval, I don't see why the dealer (or Ford) would bother changing my number....then again...expecting this to process be rational is already clearly the wrong call lol

Everglades has a tiny take rate. Wildtrack is 40% of remaining orders.
Everglades also uses different wheels.
WT is less than 30% of the USOB. and Ford only has the capacity to build about 50-60% of those orders.

Considering letting my order die out and start over w MY24. Anyone considering this and is true MY24 order banks up in March? I totally understand I lose PP
If you are planning to change dealers just keep old order as is and order new one. If staying at dealer just leave as is.

It should be but it's not and never has been. If you option a manual Sasquatch you have to pay for an automatic transmission that you aren't getting. It's ridiculous but that's the way it has always been!

So basically, nothing has changed and when they open the order banks up in March, everyone is still at the mercy of the allocation game.
The lower the number the higher the priority.

Dealers can only set numbers between 10 and 19. Back in the "normal times", that gave dealers some flexibility in how their orders get scheduled. Nowadays it's basically meaningless, because the commodity constraints are the biggest factor in whether you get scheduled or not.

Only Ford can set priority codes lower than 10. Ford had asked that dealers obtain COVP approval for all Bronco orders in 2023 (but of course some dealers are terrible at their jobs and never did it). Once the COVP submission was approved by Ford, they would reduce the priority code 2 as a way to incentivize dealers to submit for COVP approval.

WHICH BRINGS UP A REALLY GOOD POINT

If you want the $2500 offer, your order MUST be COVP approved BEFORE making modifications to your order. The deadline for COVP submissions is January 24th (less than a week away). If your order is not COVP approved prior to making modifications to your order, you will not receive the $2500 offer.

In addition, depending on which modifications you make, your dealer may have to resubmit your COVP application for approval after the modifications are made. This primarily will only impact Wildtrak customers since they have to switch trims, but definitely mention it to your dealer when you modify you order.
Weren't all 23 orders supposed to be COVP approved in order to be transferred to 23 in the first place?

I have a feeling this is going to bite some people down the road. I predict we see many posting here they can't get the $2500 because their dealer sucks by May/June. If you are going to be making changes, the best thing you can do is press your dealer and make sure your current order is COVP'd. Get that fact squared away first. Then make the changes to fulfill this new information and be eligible for the $2500. The dealer will have to COVP again after the changes are made, at least that was my understanding.

Ford uses the same IT support that Southwest Airlines does!! (He says with a snicker)

Per the video from @FordVideoGuy Heritage Editions are not constrained (edit) but unknown about capacity so we're good to go but still are under the allocation umbrella.

Obviously my call, but what would you all do in my shoes....base, 4 door, sasquatch, MIC order placed with a big dealer a yr ago. Moved to priority 2 earlier this month.

Would you roll the dice and see if it gets built as is or take off the constraints?

being in the northeast and definitely wanting to go up to 35s makes both of my constraint items pretty painful to remove.

Posted this in another thread. The portion of the video where he references auto makers purposely tightening supply makes you wonder if this isn’t apart of the plan.

Granger is telling me I have to go from a 2-door to a 4-door to get the $2,500. This is the opposite of what everyone else is saying. @Zach@Granger, can you comment?
