If you already have a VIN your order is being built as is and it's too late to change anything.
Thats what I thought ... The real question for me is ...... does a production/delivery date mean it has a VIN. I put a deposit on a dealer stock Wildtrack that has a build date (2/27) and a projected delivery date. He looked it up while I was signing the sales agreement. If a build date means a VIN I am lucking out. If it doesn't mean squat I will probably be affected by whatever this announcement actually turns out to be.

Breaks even. It costs them something like $2500 for the parts.
Zero chance on a WT with HOSS 3.0, upgraded steering rack, bash plates, shocks, hardtop, 35s, upgraded tie rods, Lux package…

100% agree its BS saying they're finding Broncos at MSRP. Rare...extremely rare if true. "Maybe", if you have an order at MSRP and you have a solid relationship with the dealer.
The dealer I buy from has had several new on the lot over the last few months and they were all listed at MSRP. Call BS if you want but I have been looking several times a week. His used are marked up considerably. When I first payed to reserve a spot to order he stated that they do not do ADM's because it reduces their allotment of new vehicles.

When I called to work out a sales agreement he said no mark up. When I signed my sales agreement he said no mark up.

I am hoping for no mark up lol. If there is real bad news all bets may be off.

Remember that those parts are being replaces with parts, so it's a delta we're looking at. Then factor in margins, Retail (what you pay), wholesale (what dealer pays) and builder (what Ford pays in volumes) and manufacturer (what the place that makes the parts pays to make them).

Normal dealer ADM in my area is 15k to +30k! My dealer had my exact build on the lot...exact MSRP...but 20k ADM. Wouldn't move off that price. So when I found a 2 door OBX at a different dealership for 5k over MSRP I pulled the trigger. Now I'm waiting on my order submitted 12/2021 - 4dr OBX - I'll decide what to do with it when and if it ever gets built.
If I can't find anything on a dealer lot I will change my WT to a BL but then lose out on my lux, Sasquatch, Hoss and all of the other goodies that the WT had...

2 Dr Badlands, MIC,Mid, No Sas order here
I just got an email (12:46) from Ashley at Chapman saying this
"no soft top for 2DR so the orders would have to drop LUX/SAS (if WT has to change to badlands/outer banks/big bend) to qualify for the PCO"

So if a 2dr order cannot drop the MIC because no soft top option is being offered, does that mean I have to order a 4 door non-Sas, Soft top, no Lux? If so, my choice is easy - wait, play the lottery and hope at some point Ford doesn't just cancel my reservation like they did to Seinfeld.

Yes. I understand how math works.

Do you not understand what they're doing? They're offering $2500 to get Broncos FASTER in FY23 before PP expires. Your theory makes no sense.

My price protection is 3400/3600, something like that.

I was saying more like 2500 is less than 3600 saving themselves money.

That was my point. Guess I will just keep quite until I find out what exactly their 0lans are.😁

Will you ask her how ford will distribute the $2500?

42 Pages on "my dealer said" it is 12.40 eastern and there is no news. The gossip on this site makes a hairdresser look tame.
Same. Nothing on my dealers end and no bronco meeting.

I believe you get both so the $3400 + the $2500.

We’re both “further down on the SAC list” Wildtrak buddies.

I did that exact thing today. With as much as we’ve been let down … I’m done with this game.

I may not be getting what I want , but 80% of it I was planning to replace aftermarket down the road anyways (Wheels/audio/etc).

At this point I’d rather take the $2500 and PP money and not wait and potentially lose all of it AND my order depending on what they decide to do.

I was going to stick it out (with interest rates the way they are now it was even more of a reason to). Unfortunately , I’m just over it.

Called John this morning and changed it over to a Badlands. With the PP/$2500 I’m just going to go ahead and order the wheels / tires / suspension and slap it all on when it arrives . Hopefully buy a take off hard top down the road.

That is why I said I would wait, because who knows what the fuck they will do.

Hell I had COVP last year and did not get built and I thought that was the whole point of the COVP.😔
