33's look great with the Badlands suspension.

BTW, MY DEALER SAID, "2 door orders stay 2 doors WITH the hard top".
Thanks for clearing that up! I appreciate it

That's the rub. Will Ford 1) allow 2 door reservations some flexibility given there's no soft top option, 2) give us a soft top option, or 3) screw us over and force us to a 4 door or cancel our reservations and take away PP at the end of the year.

Given Ford's treatment of reservation holders to date, I would put odds of option 3 at 90%+ but I hope to be proven wrong!

Your ride looks amazing btw! I'm super envious.

I feel terrible for people with Wildtrak on order. I have always thought while awesome that Ford offered SAS on every trim, it was a mistake. Seems like it's biting them now. Also I know this will be unpopular, but to me it would have made more sense to try and get other trims to drop SAS instead of forcing people out of the trim that comes with it standard.

I was at 857 days of waiting when my 2023 Raptor showed up in 2022. Now I'm Thanking God it showed up earlier than expected and feeling bad for others getting stuck with 2 bad options. Getting rid of the 3 options I waited so long for, for 2500 doesnt seem worth it.

I do understand that Ford has limited options, but I also understand that Ford dropped the ball in the beginning, leaving many early order holders stranded.

I'm sure that this is why many other manufacturers dont really let you place exact spec special orders. The program is obviously just not made for this scale of popularity in an economy like we are currently in.
I was just thinking this the other day. Honestly, at this point Ford should probably just do away with exact spec special orders altogether. They clearly can't handle it. Just build what they are able to build and just let customers buy what's available from lots.

They are doing both. They are discouraging Sasquatch whether it's standard on your trim or not.

No, it does not. It says change your Wildtrak order to no LUX, No MIC. But if you do not and do not pick a private offer or Transition offer, you will probably not get a Wildtrak until MY24. They will give you $2500 if you change to something other than a Wildtrak.
Ok. Right under Wildtrak Customers underlined at the top. "$2,500 to CONVERT to Badlands, BB, or OB". How do you interpret that statement?

Then under that statement it says, "to qualify, customer must remove/change their order to a Bronco without any of the following: MIC, Lux, SAS". The asterisk in front of this statement means it's intended for the models listed with asterisk: Badlands, BB and OB. Wildtrak not listed with asterisk, so this statement not intended for Wildtrak. Which to me means every other trim, since it's listed across the page for "non-wildtrak customers" as well, please remove these items to get the $2,500.

Either way, it is supposed to get cleared up tomorrow. I don't have much faith in that happening either. LOL

edit: and if you don't convert to a different model from Wildtrak, option 3 and 4 are now your options. Option 2 I suppose is also in play, but I doubt many will buy a different item from Ford after all this.

imo 33s look really good on the 2 door, you get extra travel with the Badlands suspension vs Squatch, and it's not prohibitively expensive to upgrade to 35s later if you really want. You also get better highway drivability and mileage (not that I'm buying a Bronco for either of those reasons, but it doesn't hurt). I wasn't planning to push a brand new expensive vehicle right up to its limits at least not right away so I doubt 33s vs 35s makes much real difference on the trails I'll ride.

I'm just not very optimistic that Ford does right by 2 door reservation holders so I'm not getting my hopes up. But we're certainly due for one small piece of good news after repeated kicks to the jimmy.
I agree with you. The Badlands 2-door with 33's looks good. Perhaps better than the Sasquatch, as those look a little cartoonish. And the standard Badlands is a little narrower which can help on tighter trails. The Sasquatch does help the look of the 4-door, as the smaller tires make it look more like an everyday SUV. If you could actually get the numbers the way to work as you outlined, that would be a heck of a vehicle for your for the price.

Oh yeah. I'm very confident that everything will be totally clear tomorrow. ;)

no, you’re part of the problem because you ordered more then one Bronco then you obviously need, hence the reason you’re trying to sell it now when you haven’t even received it yet. Not that hard to figure that out
How do you know I wasn't intending to buy 2??

Smdh. Keep assuming.

I should have worded it better, what I was trying to say is that they should have left Wildtrak out of this, and just discouraged it on all other trims because wildtrak comes with SAS standard.

I will be pissed if I was forced to abandon the 2 door WildTrak order for a 2 door OBX, and then they say just kidding about the $2500 we offered because you got a hardtop 2 door. It's worth it with the $2500.

Very reasonable advice, but most here don't want to pay ANY markup at all. Even small ones. Few dealers near me have small markups $5k or less on fully loaded Wildtraks, Badlands, with hardtops. I would of have jumped on one of those if I wasn't already scheduled and currently on chip hold.
Exactly what I did. ADM on my dealers lot was 15k to 40k depending on trim. They had my exact order at 20k over MSRP and wouldnt even discuss coming in at 5k or less because they were moving them. I saw a weekend ad for a 2 dr OBX at 5k over at a different dealer and jumped on it because I wanted it; could afford it; and wanted to stop looking every damn Thursday for a build date! Now I have a Bronco OBX...love it.. and an order for 4 dr OBX which might get built someday. Depending on the market...I'll walk away from it or maybe flip it...but this whole process is 100% a cluster-f.

This is just par for the course. No info when FORD knows EXACTLY what is going on.

I am putting it out there and calling BS on FORD. When they purge our early, unfulfilled orders they will reopen the order banks, price will be raised, and you will be able to order AND GET your truck. It will be a mid-MY price increase and production will flow. Mark my words. IF you choose to do nothing and leave your order as is, FORD will simply not build it and you will lose. We know this because it's what they've done from the start.

Truck builds that you want will be available at the dealerships. No question. Your order will simply not be built. It is what has happened since launch and that behavior will continue. As pointed out here in this thread, this is about money and profit. This is calculated behavior from FORD. Commodity constraints are just a cover.

Also watch, when we get public, official word of this, the wording will be "due to unprecedented demand..." Except they act like we are not watching. Our nicely appointed early reservation builds have all been built already 100s of times over and sold as dealer stock for $10's of thousands over MSRP since launch. That model is working for them very well. They just need to get rid of the rest of us.
Replying to my own post here as I just confirmed through Currie Ford in Frankfurt that they have a 2DR BL, 2.7L, SAS, Lux in cactus which was my original build/reservation on day 2 and it is full sticker of $57K and $20K ADM. FORD can build these trucks. But you know why they are not honoring reservation holders.
