If (and it's a very big if) Ford will allow us to keep 2 door orders and just remove Sasquatch and Lux, this could work out well. I'm ok moving from a squatch BL to non-squatch and the difference between Lux and High is negligible for me at least.

With Grangtober pricing ($2k below invoice), price protection, and an additional $2500 off, a 2 door, High package BL will be an absolute smoking deal given what these go for currently. Shoot, I might make these changes even if PP wasn't going away just to guarantee a 2023 build date and get the $2500. I can always add a lift and 35s later if I need them.

But given how Ford has treated us to date, I'm guessing 1) Ford won't let us keep 2 door orders given no soft top option, or 2) if they do, they won't be able to build all the BL builds people switch to and so will still cancel our unfulfilled orders and take away PP in 2024.

We'll see
We’re being told that Ford is meeting this week to decide whether or not to provide a soft top option for the 2-door orders.

I would take gladly the soft top 2 door option given I plan to have this thing top down/off 8 months a year, fingers crossed!

I am considering the 4 door OBX adv 4x4 soft top high package (assuming all other Granger discounts stay in place along with the $2350 PP and the $2500 MY23 transition offer). However, I would want that price in writing before I agreed to change from the 2 door WildTrak Lux.

While, it sounds like an insane thing to do, if the 4 door OBX adv 4x4 high package came in around $43k after all is said and done... I could resolve the lack of WildTrak and Lux components with aftermarket upgrades or OEM Ford parts.

Yeah, I'm still massively annoyed at Ford but the silver lining is there are some pretty sweet deals to be had if they actually honor the PP and $2500. My PP is $3425 so I'm looking at $7925 off current invoice with the Grangetober deal. Crazy good deal and gives some extra $$$ for upgrades.

Well damn, Wildtrak values about to skyrocket. Anyone wanna buy one? Lol.
Less than 24 hours and 24 pages.
IKR? I had a wildtrak order come in a few months after my OBX arrived. It was a soft-top, so i just kept my SAS OBX and let the dealer have the Wildtrak.
i now kinda' regret that decision.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same way you are. I was thinking about going up to a Badlands even without the additional $2500 (current order is a 2 door base sasquatch) . But I would totally do that with Grangetober, price protection and the $2500.

If the tops are the real constraint, I'd go to a Heritage with the mod top if I could get that.

But, yeah, can we really get anything or are we just destined to lose price protection.

It's not saying to remove those options from a Wildtrak. The graphic is saying you need to change out of Wildtrak all together. Non-Wildtrak gets the option to remove SAS and other items.
No, it does not. It says change your Wildtrak order to no LUX, No MIC. But if you do not and do not pick a private offer or Transition offer, you will probably not get a Wildtrak until MY24. They will give you $2500 if you change to something other than a Wildtrak.

imo 33s look really good on the 2 door, you get extra travel with the Badlands suspension vs Squatch, and it's not prohibitively expensive to upgrade to 35s later if you really want. You also get better highway drivability and mileage (not that I'm buying a Bronco for either of those reasons, but it doesn't hurt). I wasn't planning to push a brand new expensive vehicle right up to its limits at least not right away so I doubt 33s vs 35s makes much real difference on the trails I'll ride.

I'm just not very optimistic that Ford does right by 2 door reservation holders so I'm not getting my hopes up. But we're certainly due for one small piece of good news after repeated kicks to the jimmy.

Almost 3 years later and Ford still can't produce these things the way people want to buy them. Not sure what makes them think people that want Lux, SAS, or a Wildtrak would want to accept $2500 to downgrade the build so much. I wouldn't.

Ford really screwed the pooch on this whole thing.

John, Go back and start at page 1 of 25 26.

Yes, since there are no orders for 2022's, this is affecting 2023's.

No this is not a recall!

You're Welcome!

If I were anyone here with a Wildtrak or Badsquatch with this advanced notice and yoy actually want a Bronco, I'd start talking to your dealer today about what's on the lot and orders expected to be canceled. DO NOT mention your order or the $2500 off; they will just sell to someone else. Wait till you have a price and you're at the table.

I got my 4-door 2023 Wildtrak, LUX, MIC, HOSS 3.0 fully loaded with options just before Christmas, $4500 markup. It took 3-days just to contact the order holder and get in writing that they were canceling, but the dealer kept the sale with me. Dealers are sitting on a ton of order cancelations right now with factory upgrades and upper level trim packages; check their websites...call...but don't sit and talk about it here and wait for more news. I just checked my local dealers stock and they have multiple 2-door badlands with sasquatch and a few Wildtraks. Get the discussion going so when the official news hits, you're already working a deal.

Im assuming order holders will avoid ADM, but know that the markups right now are ABSOLUTELY negotiable. I had several dealers down to $2-3K on OBX with Sasquatch. Down to $4500-5k with fully loaded Wildtraks. Talk to multiple dealers and get multiple deals going and pick the one that works for you.
Very reasonable advice, but most here don't want to pay ANY markup at all. Even small ones. Few dealers near me have small markups $5k or less on fully loaded Wildtraks, Badlands, with hardtops. I would of have jumped on one of those if I wasn't already scheduled and currently on chip hold.

33's look great with the Badlands suspension.

BTW, MY DEALER SAID, "2 door orders stay 2 doors WITH the hard top".
