My bronco raptor mirror lights blink with turn signal
Maybe some of the forscan gurus could figure this out for us and see if this is something that could be enabled? I am sure it would not have the orange color but we could always use orange overlay for the color.

Would love for Ford to make this a standalone option or offer the glass turn-signal that the 96 Broncos had.

I had someone sneak into my blind side last week and while i did see them by checking over my shoulder prior to turning, it was a little shocking to see a car there when I didn't expect him. He also saw my side turn signal and quickly braked allowing me to merge, so all was good.

It's a nice little feature.

Badlands with LUX and mirror lights are just spots as mentioned. Do the raptors have spots as well as clearence and signals? Because if so, I wonder if we could replace our mirrors with Raptors?

I personally think the mirror spot lights are about the most worthless feature I've ever seen on a vehicle. They might be OK if they'd stayed on until at least 15 mph, but even then, anyone that wants side spotlights is going to mount some anyway, so why bother with these? ;)

Agreed They are worthless as spots!

Standard broncos (regardless of trim/package) only have zone lighting available, none offer turn indicators in the mirror caps.

Would be interested if the Raptor feature was something easily done via forscan and maybe a bulb change or something...

Hey, Ford, if you're monitoring:
My 2009 Sienna XLE Ltd was loaded with great features. The mirrors not only had in-the-mirror turn signals, but motorized arms (not just mirror adjustment). With the press of a button, they folded in. Very handy, as I park on the s street and this reduces side-swipe risks.
The problem: The mirrors had connections for: 1) mirror adjustment, 2) turn signal, 3) defrosting, and 4)arm motor--eight circuits! And all those features made for an expensive option. Replacements cost over $800, and don't ask about after-market options. Zilch.

If I could specify the option, it would have a bright horizontal amber bar facing forward, and an inside-the-mirror red set a vertical obtuse angle.

Point to remember, folks: All the wonderful trim options we oogle and pay for are going to break down someday. :( If not with you, then with a subsequent owner.

Hey now, I was in a drive thru the other night and their menu board lights were out. I turned on the mirror spot lights and was able to easily order. Excellent use for them 🤣
For real though, I wish you could get them to stay on above 5mph if you're in an off-road goat mode like mud or rock crawl.

Just for anyone wondering, you can purchase the lights separately from the mirrors.

Here are the part numbers from a Raptor:
Right: N2DZ-13B375-A
Left: N2DZ-13B374-A

The mirror covers are the same, so I see no reason they wouldn’t swap right in.

As far as the programming to make them work with the turn signals, that I don’t know. But the mirrors are powered through the DDM and the PDM if someone wants to go through forscan and look.

I’ve turned them on for backing into places in the dark. The light does help in certain situations.

Don't have access to Forscan right now, cause I'm at work.... But they are in the DDM and PDM plain english modules, you can enable them... But if you don't hve lights there right now, you probably will need some wiring too. On My BadLands without anything in the mirror, the wire just ends at C1400 and C1401. I haven't been able to find the pins for those connectors to add any either...

Yeah I thought about the wiring also. My Wildtrak has the regular white light there, so I’m curious if the turn circuit continues past C1400/C1401. I’ll look at it tomorrow at work

Edit: Nevermind, just answered my own question. Wiring diagram shows the turn circuit only present on late production vehicles. Not sure what the date is, but I’d assume only late 22’s and up have this.

Probably a fair chance they are there, I'd bet there is a harness for one with nothing but power mirrors, and a harness one with everything. But who knows..

When I looked up the pins inthe FSM though, it gives a number, but says discontinued... and when I try to find it in the online dealers/parts places nothing comes back :(
