Yeah COVP is required.

Honestly I though Ford's policy was to not even schedule build dates for orders that didn't complete the COVP process... but maybe I dreamed that up or got confused with the Maverick.
When I pushed my dealer about my approval this year, he said it's in there, order is unscheduled and clean, even let me look at the screen in the WEBDO. Now I went through the COVP deal last year without getting built so I was very leery when this year the dealer tells me they did not see an e-mail from Ford approving the COVP. Now Nov 21st has passed and my order is still there and same status so I guess it did not get deleted. But just wandering if you think this is delaying me getting a build week. I have seen other early order holders get built but not I.

I doubt it. When I converted to 23 my dealer literally said they weren't participating in COVP... Which obviously didn't give me high hopes. Then I got scheduled in the first round for November. A few weeks after being scheduled when I asked the dealer to check on something sales guy says "Congratulations your scheduled! Not sure what date... (lol) can you send me a pic of your drivers license?" 😲

Have the dealer print out your verification info complete with the authorization number.. That's really the only way you will know they processed it. Mine sent me this. Supposedly the order will never get scheduled without this being completed.

Yeah well, I had that EXACT same e-mail for last year's re-order and it still did not get built. It just worries me that they say they did not get one this year. Maybe they are just blind. I would have thought if Ford did not approve it by the 21st then it would have been deleted. I'll try again on Friday, I'm stopping by the dealer to wish them a Merry Christmas. 😁

Your order would not of been deleted if you converted but will not be built if the COPV is not completed. Maybe try calling Ford. Pretty sure I saw others say that the reps were able to tell them if the cert was in or not.

Going in probably Friday (12/23) to pick up my bronco (United Road says estimated delivery is 12/23). Dealer has said as of 12/16 they don't have anything for price protection in the system for me.

If I take delivery on Friday, and don't have the price protection, can I still get the rebate later? I'd hate to be this close to Christmas and let it sit at the dealership for something I can get later anyway.

I have a feeling that it was meant for those who ordered, not necessarily those who had reservations, prior to the cut off date. And maybe someone at ford messed up and wrote that reservations are part of it too on the website.

Have you contacted the marketing team to see what they show in Smart Vincent?

My Bronco order recently came into the dealership and for some reason the Model Year Transition Private Offer isn't showing up in Smart Vincent. I placed a order for a Badlands in March before the order cut off and then ended up changing it to an Outer Banks later that month. The dealer initially claimed that I don't qualify, because of changing my trim, but I don't see anything in the documents from Ford saying that is true. Everything I've read states the offer is based on whatever trim you have at the transition date (September) and I think I should get a rebate of $2,595. Has anyone else run into this issue?

The salesman who originally submitted my order in March was very unimpressive and is now no longer at the dealership. I think its possible he put some customer information in wrong for the original order.

The dealer said they submitted a request for an exception to Ford, but they don't know how long it will take to be approved or denied. Anyone go through this process yet?

You received a '23 model?
As far as timeline, my dealership has been working on it for over a week... still not completed.

Yeah it's a '23 model.

Did you take delivery yet? They want me to complete the purchase as soon as possible and say a check can be sent later, if approved. My thought is they have no incentive to get it corrected once the purchase is done.

No. I have not taken delivery. And while speaking to Marketing yesterday, she said DO NOT until the straighten it out and to be sure it is taken care of prior to the 31st.

That makes sense. My salesman says he has to complete the sale prior to year end regardless of whether its resolved or not. I'm sure they want the sale included in their years numbers, but savings $2,600 is worth waiting to me. Hoping they get it corrected quickly, so I don't have to argue with them on that.

Could I get confirmation of Level and Amount for 23MY Private Offer?

Reservation 7-14-20 (2Dr Black Diamond)
Order 9-30-22 (2dr Badlands)
Built 11-23-22
Awaiting Shipment

Dealer Stating:

"As per our phone conversation, we will gladly honor any rebate or price protection that you qualify for. Unfortunately because you did not convert your reservation by the deadline of March 19 2022, you do not qualify for the additional price protection you are looking for. Despite our numerous (documented) attempts to contact you by both email and phone to do so, you will only qualify for the $975 rebate to protect your bump in model year from 22-23. As I stated yesterday, if you feel that you are entitled to more, please feel free to battle that out with Ford. If they decide to give you any other direct offers, the dealership will honor them as long as we can provide proof of eligibility at the time of delivery. Feel free to converse with Ford directly on the matter while we wait for your vehicle to arrive at the dealership. Once it does arrive you will have 7 days to arrange to take delivery before the vehicle is offered to the general public to purchase."

Based on the flowchart, I come up with A group and $3325 for you, but at this point I am VERY hesitant to say that Ford will work this out. Let's be honest, the Reps are NOT answering the phones, marketing (MHP) cannot help you, it is not worth the dealer's time because either way they can sell the vehicle, for an even higher price if they don't sell it to you, and they are not going to give you their Rep's contact info for you to contact them yourself.
I am no longer optimistic at this point. I was never given the opportunity to order prior to this October... the FAQs FORD website clearly states that the offer is valid for unconverted orders, so that should not be a factor regardless.
FORD is screwing us...

Guess it’s Ford and my dealer screwing me! At least we both agree what I’m entitled to. It shouldn’t be this hard. I was really loyal and looking forward to getting a Bronco but unless it gets worked out I may be out. Shaping up like my first American car won’t be a Ford. I may have to start naming names!
