I currently have a Bronco Raptor on order scheduled to be built the week of January 30. I have the bronco spec'd out exactly how I want it, so I am happy in that regards, but for some reason I am really struggling with the color. I started out with code orange then switched to Azure gray then back to code orange and now I am seriously feeling like Hot Pepper looks the best, especially with the graphics package. I currently own a GT 500 in rapid red = I love it in that color. I used to own a Gen. 2 raptor in rapid red and I loved that color. My Gen. 3 raptor is in code orange and I really like the F 150 Raptor in code Orange, although I finally saw a Bronco raptor yesterday in code orange with no graphics and it didn't wow me in person on the bronco like it does on the F 150 Raptor.

I have been looking at pictures and trying really hard to decide but I keep going back and forth between Code Orange, Azure Gray, and Hot Pepper Red. I was just wondering if anybody has seen a bronco raptor in person in Azure Gray or Hot pepper red and what they thought of it. As you know seeing a color in person can change your mind pretty fast. Like the Code orange looks more red with certain low sunlights, especially just before dark. I even considered white. I love the code orange on the F 150 Raptor so maybe I should just stick with that.

Any opinions from people who have seen these colors in person would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

I was on the fence between Azure Gray and Code Orange as well. Went with AG only because I couldn't trust CO as all the pictures showed it as red and I just can't do red (BYU fan). (I can't believe they have like 5 different shades of gray for the Braptor but dropped the wonderful blue/green hues!)

Anyway, funny enough the day I got scheduled, I finally saw a BRaptor in person and it was Code Orange! I loved it and wanted to switch and have repeatedly bugged my dealer about it, but he says I'm 'locked in' since I have a build date (currently 1/30/23 after a couple delays).

Anyway, while I'd for sure switch to CO if given the chance, I'm good with AG -- and am just excited for the Braptor to arrive (hopefully sooner rather than later).

I went Code Orange since they took away EG for 2023 (Idiots at Ford). Code Orange is the only color that's Raptor exclusive so that's why I picked it.

Anyways. Hot Pepper Red is too burnt orange in person for me. Especially in overcast or at night time. It looks good in the bright sunlight, but that's it IMO.

My BASE (obviously not a Raptor) is HPR. I originally wanted Rapid Red, but seeing my Dad's Rapid Red Exploder next to my HRP Bronco I really like the HPR a lot more. And HPR looks outstanding in the sun.

But... Code Orange is the Raptor Exclusive color. I'd have a hard time doing anything other than Code Orange on a Raptor.

Interesting, we have both been delayed with build dates twice and now our raptors are being built on the same week. My original build date was the week of 1/16, then 1/23, and now 1/30. Same as you.

I will tell you this, I just changed my color to hot pepper red yesterday and it went thru the system. The reason why I know it went thru the system was I got a e-mail from ford last night with the new build date and color.

I went code orange, orange/blue seats and orange belts... love it. If they would have had flame blue like my gen1 I would of done that but this is pretty good.

Thank you. Although Oxford White with the graphics package is starting to grow on me.

I had been Code Orange since the announcement video came out but switched to Shadow Black and then got scheduled unexpectedly and there’s no switching once scheduled. So for me, once I went black, there really was no going back.

I‘ve seen Bronco Raptors in Oxford White, Code Orange, and Shadow Black in person and they all looked great. The Shadow Black looked the most aggressive to me so I picked it.

It was tough deciding between Hot Red Pepper and Code Orange. Both look great. In the end I went Code Orange, I get lots of complements on the color.

It appears that most Raptors on the road will end up Code Orange.

That's exactly why I went with Cyber Orange and took delivery on 9-13. Now that it is a discontinued color, it's probably one of the least built colors.

I agree, the dealer called and said they had a chili Pepper one coming soon that I could have sooner but I just love the look of this white one. I think I may wait for White.

It’s quite obvious that’s the case just by looking at the raptors that have sold or are for sale.

I went with shadow black with the graphics package. I saw this combo in person and it looks the most aggressive to me. If only leadfoot gray had been an option, I would have gone with that.

I went into the dealership back in the fall to update my Wildtrack reservation from Area 51 to Azure Gray planning to do my own Wildtrack Heritage Edition build (white top, grill, wheels, etc.) when I was offered the Raptor. It all happened so fast I just stayed with Azure Gray. Later thought about switching to Code Orange, but just couldn’t get comfortable with the color and ultimately decided I really liked the Azure Gray/graphics package combo. I originally ordered the blue leather and orange belts, but later switched to black leather to avoid competing blues. Kept the orange belts. I must admit that white with the graphics package has been growing on me lately. I also agree that the fender flares look the best on black. I just need my Raptor to get built so I can quit second guessing myself. Good luck with your color choice😂.
