Does your Bronco have squeaks and rattles?

Frameless windows rattle when rolled down, but to be expected. I know why they did frameless though.

Does it sound anything like this:


Only one of my doors does this, and it's the front passenger. All the other windows are silent, at any height. This one rattles no matter what height it's at.

I feel very fortunate in that I only have one minor "rattle" of the hardtop above the passenger seat. It seems to be temperature dependent and can probably be fixed by the alignment pin shrink tube mod. The Bronco has otherwise been very solid.

Front left side of drivers seat developed a squeak at 9000 miles. Drivers side windshield whipper had a squeak for the first 5000 miles but is now gone. The hard top made that cracking sound, but I lubed the guide nipples and haven't had the sound come back.

what did you use to lube the top? i wonder if thats whats making mine sound like death in the back

I would think some white lithium grease, but we'll see what he says.

My bronco squeaks two secs after I shut it off and when I pull off from a light and driving under 15mph it used to be constant under 30mph now I’m at 2700 miles and it’s still annoying

Have you tried to have your dealer “fix” squeaks and rattles? Any success? It seems like a new car from a major manufacturer shouldn’t have squeaks and rattles.

Over 12k miles, 2dr. No squeaks or rattles, only the windows when they are part-ways down. And the wind noise.

Just got a rear passenger squeak when going over bumps. I need someone to get back there when I drive to find it for me. Drives me nuts!

22 OBX hard top with 2500 miles. We had the window rattle bad on the passenger side, so I personally did the TSB that's out there on all 4 doors, didn't help. Something in the passenger door or maybe the window still rattles like crazy. Now, just last night a new rattle appeared in the dash/A pillar/top area, I haven't had anybody else drive and let me try to pinpoint it yet. I don't get to drive it much since it's my Wife's, but it's annoying when I do. And of course we still have the whistling sound going on, even though the dealer said they "adjusted" the window and it went away. It didn't.

Consider yourself lucky if a dealership remembers to replace the crush washer after an oil change. If you are counting on them to fix squeaks/rattles, you might as well expect them to cure cancer.

No, it is not to be expected. Do not accept crap quality. There is a TSB on this exact issue. Which means Ford acknowledges there is an issue.

My passenger seat was squeaking like hell ,tightened it up and a few weeks later same thing I gave it the onions this time should be ok

Where did you tighten? My passenger seat issue is the seat back shakes and rattles over bumps.
