I ordered a Bronco back in 12/21. Ordered a 2 door BD with 2.7, auto and part time 4x4. It was in the back of my mind but I kind of forgot about it. The dealer initially told me 2 years. Also told me I can change things until the VIN was issued. End up getting an email from from Ford about 3 weeks ago . Scheduled no VIN. I went to the dealer that day and inquired about changes and was told no. The VIN came a week later. Anyway, I found a 2 door BD 2.7 auto and part time 4x4. This one had the mid package and tow which I felt sorry for not ordering. I bought that one. MSRP. Lost price protection of course. I'm already over it, I like the blind spot monitors.
One thing I can't remember from the initial build back in Late 2021 is what bumper the BD had standard at that time.

Can't blame you.
I hate to say it but I'm quite certain you could use your price protection if it was new from a dealer.

The 2021 BD had the modular bumper standard I believe but the 22 shipped with the capable. Glad you got one regardless. Mid package is nice and what I got on my BD. Just wish it had acc

Called ford cs and asked the dealer I got it from. No price protection. What irks me a bit more is the modular bumper was standard when I did the original order and my original ordering dealer didn't give me a heads up in September when they confirmed the 23 model year order to see if I wanted any changes.

I'm a transplant to Columbus. My heart is in Cleveland.
Keep your heart in Cleveland-Just take your Bronco to the Southern hills and back roads - truly there is so much fun to be had down there toward and even into West Virginia. Then enjoy spring at the Lake and Put in Bay (belly up to the bar) for me, then east up to Pennsylvania and New York and go all around lake Erie and Huron too...explore the U-P and check out Wisconsin on your way back to Cleveland? You got a Bronco now!

Sounds good to me all I need to do is retire. :) Got a camp in Port Clinton(Island/Put in Bay Area). Pretty much there from April to November.

The"capable" bumper is horribly misnamed. It's not capable of anything other than changing fog lights. I'm not sure anyone was alert to the change. When mine showed up, I thought, WTF? Is already bought fogs that fit the modular... But it is steel and looks good.
