This ford account on here that shows up in posts and asks for vin etc should stay out of it. I have not seen one thread where this account has helped at all. Just tells owners to contact their dealer. WELL NO KIDDING,REALLY?

Has anyone had the noise go away on its own, I have about 2000KM on the Bronco after starting to hear the noise. seeing as a few people have had tranny replacements without luck, meaning the new ones started making noise again. I think I am going to hold off on pushing for a new tranny. The dealer today however offered to buy back the bronco but of course that would be a small loss to me (6grand)
I am torn, take the money and the loss and vow to never buy a ford again or ride it out until maybe they find a fix.
I am also tired of people in parking lots flagging me down to let me know my vehicle is making a grinding noise... Brand new vehicle and not cheap and I am putting up with this

Finally got ahold of my dealer after a month of waiting and they said Ford is giving them a run around again about the noise in my replacement transmission. They want to take the car for a drive with a few sound probes attached to pinpoint the noise. This is the same thing that happened on the first transmission that warranted the replacement. The service rep and myself are kind of on the same page. We both agree that Ford does not have a solution to this right now and they may be getting tired of throwing away transmissions. Going to wait and see what they say about the sound test and at least play along for a minute. I don’t really feel confident in another transmission until Ford releases information stating that they know there is a problem and they have a fix. Definitely a crummy situation to be in with a new car.

well this really sucks seeing so many of these issues popping up. I really wanted the manual but am now second guessing things. Hopefully the solution is something as simple as a different fluid. My truck is a scheduled 12/12 build and will be following these threads super close

I have people flagging me down in parking lots telling me they can hear a grinding noise. Brand new vehicle you can see the look on their face. Its the look of you got suckered. U might get lucky and get a good tranny but at this point its a gamble

Hopefully a fix comes soon. I have this noise, my head lights turn on by themselves all the time(part backordered), my hard top is being looked at for moving when you open and close the rear glass, and both rear defroster tabs came off. Fun stuff. Its a frustrating vehicle because i really like it, but it feels like they went cheap on a lot of stuff.

All you do is tell us to contact our dealer, please get Ford to issue some type of statement on this issue.

FORD: Can you explain to all of us who have received similar messages from you, what have you done for us besides asking us to take our Broncos to a dealer?

When we did this, our dealers called Ford, and we have been waiting for answers from Ford for weeks now, but no resolution

I am having the same issue. One thing I noticed - not moving, clutch out, move the gear shifter to the right and pull slightly towards 6th gear and the noise will stop. Let go of the gear shifter and the noise starts up again. Anyone else experience this?

Yes, and it's repeatable over and over.

It really feels like something is not properly lubricated.

If you would feel better giving someone other than the official FORD account a try, please forward me your VIN, dealership, name and location I will follow up with a case # (infact everyone's case # is 000001) and then I can DM, call you or email you with the suggestion of following up with your dealership.

Yes, I know, that dealership may ignore you completely (my situation) or be clueless, or not have a remedy even if they do care but at least it will look like I am interested in your situation.

We have made a nightly ritual of running back out into the cold to turn our lights off and I have the wife drive the manual Bronco so I don't have to worry about the marbles in our transmission.

Has a Bronco been rear ended yet? Come to think of it these problems seem pretty insignificant compared to issues of previous models. Looking at you Pinto...
