Hah! I guess if we combine the two noises together, it sounds like a sewing machine tumbling in a dryer. Noise picked up again yesterday after being quiet for over a week - I can’t figure out a pattern at all. Noise also persisted after warm up. My service appt is Thursday.

Did they replace your transmission and the noise (real or imaginary) is coming from a new one? Let me add to the weirdness - No noise at all on 5 of my last 6 starts!! Weather is improving; so possibly a temperature thing? I also just crossed 1000 miles, so….. possible break-in of some sort? So...

Same boat here. Dealer says 4+ weeks for appointment with their transmission guy, looks like 7 possible weeks for new transmission after that. I called Ford customer service and they won’t assign a case manager until I get into a dealer. Dealer also said I’m 20-30 in line on their loaner car...
