on the same boat here !
I had lots of order leaking through the Pillar on the driver’s side, and bottom where all the wires are located, after doing some research, I found out that there is TSB for this, so I called my Ford dealer and the just preformed the TSB, this morning, with just a little...
Following a little adjustment (not sure exactly what, as the Tech didn’t share with me what he did) my Bronco now shifts very smoothly, no rattling or any sort of noise..
I recently got the new updated version of the manual transmission (AD version). In the first few days the shifting was very smooth . One day as I was taking off in the first gear, the shift kicked back very rapidly, and make a loud noise, apparently the gear popped out. I thought it was me not...
Terrible hardtop and customer service. I just paid for a full replacement of my glass unit as they were not willing to send a free replacement under their “warranty”
Sam here except, I spent $4,300 to paint it. The defrost cable broke within 2 months from the installation, then I was asked to take pic of the cable, and as soon as I opened the glass to take pic. The shock got detached from the glass. When I contacted Anderson, about the second issue, they...
Thanks! I am not too optimistic about Ford motors abilities or willingness to resolve this issue. It’s been nearly 4 years since these problems were reported to them , however there is not yet a real fix to this problem.
Some friendly advice here. The Anderson paintable version is a terrible, poorly made hardtop, with holes, and waives all over it. It will cost you at least $5k to get this hardtops prepared and painted. Anderson told me that all the holes, waives and other deformations, and imperfections are...
This is a terrible hardtop. I purchased this and so far I have spent $4800 in prep and paint work, and it still looks terrible. It has holes, waives, it rattles, the shocks that hold the glass broke within a few months. I would not recommend this to anybody.
If the same synchro rings come in the updated transmission as the ones for the TSB, is there a logical reason for performing the TSB on the 2024 model ?
I was advised by a shop that Wrapping would not work, as the holes and deformations can be seen even if the wrapping material is 10 mm in thickness.
Anderson should not advertise this hardtop as paintable as it requires thousands of dollars in prep work, and can not even be finished to match...
I advise you to not get the primered version. I got mine a few weeks back, after paying thousands of dollars in prepping and painting work it still looks like garbage. The surface is full of waves, holes, and unfinished spots.
