Thanks! I am not too optimistic about Ford motors abilities or willingness to resolve this issue. It’s been nearly 4 years since these problems were reported to them , however there is not yet a real fix to this problem.

This is a terrible hardtop. I purchased this and so far I have spent $4800 in prep and paint work, and it still looks terrible. It has holes, waives, it rattles, the shocks that hold the glass broke within a few months. I would not recommend this to anybody.

Yes, I would think when temp. rise, synchro rings expand. Besides being a Ford, this would be the only logical explanation.

I used the BG Synchro shift II on my third transmission, zero difference.

On my third transmission, still makes the grinding noise when temperatures fall below 50 degrees, and rattles when the weather warms up..

If the same synchro rings come in the updated transmission as the ones for the TSB, is there a logical reason for performing the TSB on the 2024 model ?

I was advised by a shop that Wrapping would not work, as the holes and deformations can be seen even if the wrapping material is 10 mm in thickness. Anderson should not advertise this hardtop as paintable as it requires thousands of dollars in prep work, and can not even be finished to match...

I advise you to not get the primered version. I got mine a few weeks back, after paying thousands of dollars in prepping and painting work it still looks like garbage. The surface is full of waves, holes, and unfinished spots.
