2021 Wildtrak without Front & Rear lockers

Hi everyone,

I bought my 2 door 2021 Wildtrak with the Sasquatch package imported by a Ford dealership here in Saudi Arabia, and to my surprise, the vehicle was not equipped with front and rear lockers. I was under the impression that it's a standard feature for the Wildtrak trim and when I bought the car I took that as a given, especially with all the marketing material on the internet specifying that.

I'm not sure what my options are now, and I'm quite surprised that @Ford Motor Company allowed the dealership here to obtain the trim without lockers. The dealership basically says the vehicle feature list they had for the trim they imported did not specify the existence of the lockers, and that they are not liable for it.

Any pointers on what I can do from here?

Do you have photos of it? Inside/out? Window sticker? I wonder if it's not an actual Wiltrak. They all have Sasquatch standard. My only suspicion is that it's not uncommon for automakers to alter trims for different countries.

If that is your wildtrak in your profile picture... you have been bamboozled. I see black diamond wheels and non-sasquatch fenders. Unless Ford did a lot of differences for overseas markets. Your window sticker says sasquatch package as standard equipment but that doesn't look like it at all in your profile picture. Also the window sticker says locking diffs

Does the vin on your car match the vin on the window sticker? Do all other options lineup?

You haven't been bamboozled. The WT sold in the Middle East is different than the WT in North America. You read the wrong marketing material.

Thats what I was thinking. Looking further at the list of options, it even has the smaller tire size listed. Interesting that is altered so much, even with being OCONUS.

Not really contributing to this thread, but I’m curious why the lockers would have been removed for a different market? What’s the point of that?

Yea, the engine is the 2.7 ecoboost.

It's also missing the Telematics Control Unit, i.e. I can't connect to home Wifi for updates

In our private thread, I mentioned this back in July of this year. The ME WT is basically a Big BenDiamond mash up. They don't get tinted glass, they get the BD upgraded wheels, etc.
