I had to look up what a x7 even was, it looks like very similar to 95% of crossovers on the road here. Can't believe they could sell something that look like that for over $40k. What's a 10 year old beamer crossover going for these days? $7000(?)
Don't know what this has to do with anything mentioned here so, I assume I need to say, enjoy your drink... Cheers...

You brought up the BMW comparison, so maybe it didn't have anything to do with the topic when you first brought it up then. :sneaky:

You are correct. Just want the look. I drive 400 miles a month. Beach and boat ramp use.
In that case Sasquatch is not a deal for you (spending thousands extra on unused functionality is no deal). Unless maybe you could use a rear locker on slick boat ramps or something of that nature?

I'd consider going base and watch for a sale on 33" tires at one of the tire discounter holiday sales. And maybe install a mild 1" spacer lift. You and a friend could do that yourself. The gearing should be ok with 33" tires (in particular if you go manual trans with the stock 4.46 diff gears).

If wanting 35" tires then you could be looking at more cost and possibly a higher lift, I haven't looked into that much.

Oh, got it, you are wrong. Allow me to explain, I brought the PRICE of a much more expensive BMW crossover as an example compared to the prices paid for a Bronco in the island of Puerto Rico. You can insert any nicer vehicle on the $75 - $85k price range and the example stands regardless of brand.

What's it say on that "Deal gauge"? I'm looking at a Kelly Blue Book range of $5900-$8249 for a 2012 (BMW x5)
I just did a 200 mile check on cars.com for an X% 2012, with reasonable miles-All used vehicles are stupidly priced right now in my opinion.

I don’t need huge tires. Just bigger than on the base. Big Bend seems like what I need. The look, and gear change. No manual. Must be auto and 2.3. Ramps are not an issue with the skiff I pull.

It also blows my mind that my BaseSquatch with the V6 option is mechanically identical to a Wildtrak for over $10k less
That has been my build since the beginning, but Ford seems to have a hard time building it. I like to think of it as a ........................ Basetrak. 😁

When I get mine, I'll mess with my brother telling him I got the Basetrack for about $35k less!

Tell me more about what's on your front bumper there.

I also have the factory plastic bumper coming (because I wanted the fog lights and wiring all done from factory). What have you done with yours?
It's under the bumper, it's the Rough Country Hidden Winch Mount and Tow Hooks.

I haven't had time to finish the winch install yet. I haven't done anything else to the bumper, but the Bronco itself has a few mods.

Did that require cutting the bumper?

Sorry to hijack the thread. Is your build or this mod posted by you somewhere?

If not, we can DM...
