UPDATE/ Ford IS Warranting MIC top v2 developing hairline cracks

Just wondering if anyone else is having this same problem. Both the drivers side and passenger side are developing these hairline cracks in the lower window panel area. It hard to see in the picture but seems like I'm getting more and more every day

I have reached out to my dealer and Ford. Ford rejected the warranty claim, the dealership is working with their reps but no update yet. Just wondering if this is isolated or more bronco owners have the same issue but haven't looked careful enough.

Mine is starting to look a little bad around rear glass. It lives in the garage and has only had 400 miles put on it since I got it home from SAC on 7/18. I'm going to let it be for now and see what it's like when it goes in for first oil change.

I knew when I saw my first MIC 2.0 they were trash and Ford would be replacing a bunch.

They said it wasn't a failure due to manufacturing. They are just refusing the claim because of cost.. They continue to believe it is wax or some kind of misuse by me. Bronco stored in the garage from day one, 5000 miles on it, delivered first week of March 2022

Just did a quick visual on mine. I did not see any cracks. My Bronco live outside. Garage priveleges are only given to the Queen's vehicle.

That’s bullshit. 100% manufacturing defect.

Ford will probably start deferring all liability to the owners for taking the top off incorrectly.. I have to admit some of the big cracks I have seen on other Broncos could have been from dropping the canopy.
