Did you have any rattle with the sub firing against the enclosure?
Well you were right ended up being way too much rattle even firing towards the seats so I moved it inside the enclosure on the side wall and that took care of the issue.

I posted this in another thread as well but, figured it really belongs in this one.

As I previously posted, I purchased "kit 14" and I'm super impressed with the plugnplay kit.

This kit comes with the harness, 200.4 and also an AudioControl LC2i. I installed the 200.4 in the same location as the OP and that worked out great.

Speaker upgrades:

(4) Kicker KS (with 300 hz bass blockers on the fronts)
(2) Sony XS-GS1621's in the kick panels

I decided to mount my LC2i in the glove box and just purchased the KICKER 500.1 which will live in the same place. I'll be finishing off my system next weekend with the amp install. It actually fits perfectly in the bottom of the glove box and it will be velcroed in place. I did drill a few holes in the back of the glove box (added some rubber grommets) for the wiring.

I like this because it keeps everything pretty much self contained to one area. Outside of running speaker wire to the rear (for the sub) all of the wire runs are nice and easy. I also like that I can lock the glove box for that little bit of extra perceived security.

I know it's not for everyone... but my glove box is generally just filled with junk and this is much better usage of the space (for me).

As for the sub, I ended up going with the KICKER 48TRTP122 for the rear of my 2dr. While it does take up a lot of floor space, it doesn't really take up a ton of cubic space. I like this box because you can stack items on top of it, if necessary.

I'll post some updates once I have the 500.1 installed next weekend.

Didn't think you'd really need the LC2i since the Key 500.1 has DSP built in. No?

With the Plug N Play kit and the 200.4 Kicker amp install, do you need to run a separate power cable to the battery or does it pull power from the harness\head unit?

You do not need to run separate power for the Key200.4. It draws from the power from your factory harness.

Noob question here: I purchased Kit 16. Do I need to run a power cable from the powered sub to the battery, or does it draw power from the harness that's attached to the Kicker Key and the back to the head unit?

You need to run a power cable and the power cable comes in the kit.

All powered subs must have power connected to the battery and grounded

I'm running Hertz dcx100.3 in the dash and Polk DB402 in the rear. The Hertz up front are notably better than stock, but as i mentioned, the stock head unit starts clipping so badly at even moderate volume levels it's still not great.

And everything sounds like crap in the rear IMHO regardless of what drivers are used and what Forscan tweaks are made... But improved drivers like the Polks are a little less crappy.
How do you like the Hertz?

And don't try to play the pink noise through your phone, I found out the hard way.
