Saw an Eruption Green Bronco, so I caught up at a stop light. Rolled down my window, yelled "Nice!" Woman, 40s? Mouthed to me, "Pssh whatever" Drove away.

Not being a creeper, there aren't many of these. WTF is that? I'm just stoked when I see another one. Assumed mall crawler over MSRP.

Some people think they are hot shit, yet that exact mindset makes them horribly unattractive.

She probably thought you were trying to pick her up. Maybe you weren't her type?

Same thing happened to me the other day going to work. On the GWB doing 2 mph came up along side a 2 door Eruption green Squached beauty, gave a wave or two, nothing...I was in my 2 door Cyber Orange Bronc. two 2 doors next to each other in the wild is pretty darn rare. Not any sort of acknowledgement. No way he didn't see me. Some folks...

Haven’t been at all that surprised. Majority of Wrangler owners definitely fall into the non-enthusiast category too. I’ve always gotten great positivity from enthusiast owners regardless of brand. Otherwise for many the Bronco, like every other “lifestyle” vehicle, is just another cool-to-own vehicle to them and they don’t really give two shits

I am an enthusiast. For me it’s still situational. When we are out in the Bronco some folks will look at it or walk close to check it out which is perfectly fine by me. They are rare to see in person right now. I was scoping Broncos whenever I could to see if I liked them. The other day I was coming out of a store and there were 2-3 guys standing right next to the drivers door and something seemed off.
I started thinking about how they are rare right now so car jackers and chop shops would like to get a hold of one.

All this to say, don’t judge too harshly. If you are a dad of daughters, a husband, or someone who really appreciates your Bronco you could be put off a bit by people getting too close or approaching your loved one.

I rolled up on a white squatched 4 door with retro stripe rolling south out of Northern Kentucky a few weeks back. I paced him for over a mile, giving my best Forrest Gump wave,,,
Ford Bronco Non-Enthusiasts with a Bronco 200 (1)

Dude never acknowledged me, looked my way, nothing. He peeled off on 71 heading towards Louisville. I continued on south on 75 thinking to myself how miserable it must be to go through life like him. He probably belongs to the "Don't touch my Bronco with your rubber duck" crowd. You'll get more damage from rock chips with the squatched Bronco and parking lot dings at the mall, than a rubber duck on your door handle will do.

I've owned classic cars, a Shelby GT500, and soon to have my Race Red Wildtrak,,, it's human nature for other people, especially car folks, to try and get your attention to give a thumbs up in acknowledgement of what you are rolling down the road in.

Enjoy life, you only have one trip through it.

The bulk of the new Broncos sold will be Mall Crawlers. I see the 4 door Jeeps being used exactly the same.

I am very happy with my Bronco, but I don't really care who else has one, and I don't want to high five someone because they have similar taste. I try not to distract other drivers by surprising them at an intersection, or by drawing their attention away from driving. People are distracted enough without having to wave at every other person that drives a similar vehicle.
