How many dropped the tow? Made a difference?

Three weeks ago I dropped the tow option on my 2 door OBX (2.7, lux, leather) and just saw through the back door that I now have a build date of 5/23 (Reservation 8/30/20). I was wondering if I needlessly dropped the tow since I noticed that a lot of rigs are being built with that opton. I was wondering how many of you dropped the tow and if you believe that made a difference.

Back in in Nov, my dealer called me (this is rare) and told me if I wanted my bronco any time soon I should drop tow, so I did.
Got a build date 3 weeks later. Though my build date moved to the right three times, I am built and on the way by rail.

I dropped tow and received a VIN and build date 3 weeks later also. Seems like it made a difference, but can't know for sure if I didn't drop it I would have still got scheduled.

I have Wildtrack with Lux, no tow, MIC or decals or anything else the dealer said that would delay. 09/2020 reservation with Feb 2021 converted to order and crickets still

(Day 1.5 res) I dropped tow and in 2 weeks nothing, i dropped modular bumper and 2 days later got VIN

I dropped mine on my Feb reorder, hoping to make it thru this time. It helped that Ford encouraged that to dealers with part numbers for the dio. Tho I can't find that thread.
