How many dropped the tow? Made a difference?

I dropped the tow package Feb 24 and checked the backdoor link on Thursday and have a build date for May 23.

I had exact same experience. Dropped immediately when I got the Ford email saying to remove it if I wanted to get Bronco faster and now have 5/23.

I dropped mine a month ago (maybe two?) now have a build date of 5/23 like many others it seems. Even having a lot of the "original sins" on my build 2DR/2.7L/SAS/MIC top.

ETA: Original pre-order date 9/16/20, reordered in Oct'21(?) with new specs. Dropped tow package in early/mid 2022 and build date pops up.

Three weeks ago I dropped the tow option on my 2 door OBX (2.7, lux, leather) and just saw through the back door that I now have a build date of 5/23 (Reservation 8/30/20). I was wondering if I needlessly dropped the tow since I noticed that a lot of rigs are being built with that opton. I was wondering how many of you dropped the tow and if you believe that made a difference.

I did also, but to be honest the Ford algorithm of “constraints” didn’t make that much difference. I still had to wait till 3/7 for build. I have seen people get everything they want with all the constraints ahead of me and I have seen people remove all constraints and ”no order“ yet

Dropped the tow 3 weeks ago and saw through the back door I have a build week of 5-23. kept the MIC and high package.

Seems from the few posts that it honestly doesn't matter. Maybe it helps a little, but when basically every upgrade is a constraint it probably doesn't do much.

dropped mine 12/29/21 and got a scheduled email 1/22/22
2/23/21 reservation and order. My dealer was surprised I got scheduled

Dropped TOW 2/25. Got my 4/25 build week notification on Friday 3/25. Not sure it was the reason but happy regardless.

Moved to 2/14
Moved again to 2/28
Blend 3/1/22
Built 3/18/22
As of today, better be on the way

I did not drop the tow and I got an email from my dealer last week that I have a build date of 5/23.

Dropped tow and hardtop and was scheduled the very next week

Dropped Tow on my 2dr. Nothing, dropped 2dr and got 4dr soft top... Still nothing 7/25/20 reservation.
Dropping tow helps, but doesn't guarantee

Dropping the tow made a difference for me, also I can get tow for my bronco at less than half what ford charges so it’s a win win

Dropped the tow 1/26 got a build date of 5/2/22 last go around in Feb so I guessed it helped.
