The more of these I read the more confused I get. I have seriously gone through every thread on here and can't figure out what is reality. After my dealer told me $20k markup for a BRaptor and all future orders, I called 13 dealers in the DFW area and found 3 that claimed to be honoring MSRP for BRaptor orders. I attempted to make a reservation with all 3. 1 of them said that's impossible because order banks are closed, 1 of them says I need to be a GT to place an order, and the last one sent me an order confirmation that day. So please for the love of God someone help me out here. What is this order confirmation for if not my place in line for a BRaptor in 6-9 years?
if you're a GT holder you have to go to your assigned dealer and agree on the sale price. It SHOULD be msrp, but some dealers you will have to go through an uphill battle for. Ford cannot do much to force them to sell it to you at MSRP, but the allocation is assigned to that dealer, so ford cannot transfer the order. The reason they are telling you ADM is so that you cancel, and when that happens they can definitely sell it with ADM as it then is their allocation to sell. I had my dealer tell me they were going to charge 20k, I had ford CRC on the phone and they agreed to sell at MSRP. Because they agreed, I dont know what ford wouldve done, but they did tell me that they cannot legally get in the way, whatever you do, dont decline your order because it wont be transfered.

If you are not a GT holder, you have to find a dealer that has allocation that will sell at msrp. This situation is highly unlikely, my advice is if you can find one for 5k over, just take the deal.

ADM sucks but on the flip side a dealer has to earn allocation for this vehicle, its harder for some than others, and they know if they sell it to you at MSRP you can turn around and sell it that day for a profit and they lose money. good luck

Did you have a reservation for a Bronco? There is no separate reservation for the Bronco Raptor. Chances a dealership is going to let you have one of their non golden ticket allocated Bronco Raptors (if they have any) is unlikely unless you

a) have an reservation and didn't get a golden ticket Most dealerships have waiting lists comprised of early reservation holders that didn't get a golden ticket. or B) are a high profile client that spend a lot of money with them. and honestly they probably have early reservations anyway.

So I have a Wildtrak on order at a separate dealership and only ordered 8 months ago, so no GT. They offered a dealer allocation for $20k above MSRP, but also told me they would charge above MSRP for all future BRaptor orders. So I called another dealership in the area who told me no ADM on any orders (currently coordinating to sign sales agreement), sent me an order build sheet, and subsequently was sent this Ford confirmation. They told me I am the only one that has ordered a BRaptor from them.

Most Warthog orders now are only for GT holders. Notice how I said most.

Some dealerships did get some allocations not associated with GT allocations.

For example my dealership received 2 GTs and then was awarded 3 allocations and I got the 1st of the 3.

BUT again most dealerships only received GT allocations. If GT customers do not cash in their ticket then that dealership keeps the allocation and can sell it to anyone.

I assume you are just trying to order a warthog in general? It will be tough unless you know someone.

There was a thread a few days of a dealership in Wisconsin that has 1 allocation and they are selling it for 25K over.

I think in 2023, the allocation situation will go back to normal and will have nothing to do with unscheduled reservations.

so what is the issue? You found a dealer with an allocation and got it for sticker?

Lucky bastard!

Sorry dude I am genuinely just confused at this point and seeking help from the real people who know whats happening.

I wasn't under the impression they had an allocation, nor did I even ask. All I did was ask if they would honor MSRP if I ordered one and they said they would. So I built a Cactus Grey BRaptor on the build and price, sent it to them, and this was the response (With Code Orange?). I don't believe that this is a confirmation that I'll be getting a 2022, I'm not that lucky, I am just thinking it's some sort of confusion.

I'll call them again tomorrow and try to dig out more info, but as for now I'm safely storing this in the "too good to be true" bucket.

Your screenshot above shows a Warthog which means you ordered a Warthog. Though you ordered Cactus Grey and pic shows code orange.

Ask your dealer for a DORA (Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement). When a dealer submits an order, ford will confirm the order with a DORA. This DORA will show everything that was ordered.

so Ask them for a DORA.

one more thing, if you get a DORA and it shows Code Orange, then you will want to get them to change it ASAP to CG. It will very difficult to change the color once you are scheduled for production.

Who is Ford CRC? Is that your dealership? I haven't had tremendous success "negotiating" with the dealer for all the obvious reasons. Calls to Ford haven't yielded anything promising either.

Customer relationship center. They have a bronco team that they have to transfer you to internally/no direct number, though like you experienced there’s little if anything they can actually do
