Where did you get the diagrams for interior panel removal?I installed a Kicker Key 200.4 amp in my BaseSquatch today and it made a HUGE difference. It was a straight forward install that took about an hour and a half. The install was made easy because of the harness from plugnplaykits.com. There was no need to cut, splice or drill anything. As you will see in the video below, it litterally was a plug and play operation.
The Kicker Key amp has a build-in automatic DSP that fixes Ford's terrible signal as well as adding 50 watts per channel. The combination is amazing. I have a nice 3 way component speaker set waiting to install in the front and now I'm not even sure I will bother. That is just how big of improvement this is.
I have suspected that Ford is intentionally degrading the sound quality of the base system in an effort to get customers to upgrade to the B&O. These amp and more importantly the smart DSP that is integrated in it really brings the entire stereo to life. Spend you money on this before you spend it on speakers. Good speakers can't fix low power and poor signal.
I put together a quick installation video but wasn't able to show the self tuning step because I needed my phone to play the kicker pink noise DSP turning track. If you want to see that step other installation videos show you how to do that.
Edit: the harness and amp are "Kit 11". Here is the direct link to the bronco kits.

Even before I installed the amp, the speakers popped slightly. A little louder now, but nothing terribleEverything installed….anyone else hearing your speakers pop when the amp turns off?
It’s not bad but mine never did it before lol. Anyone know of a good place to tie in a remote wire?Even before I installed the amp, the speakers popped slightly. A little louder now, but nothing terrible
It's kit 31. Kicker key harness only. Waiting on mine now, got tracking info today. Is anyone aware whether or not PnP sells just the harness for the Kicker 200.4? The layout of their sales page is confusing the hell outta me.
I found them somewhere here on the forums and saved them. I don’t recall what post had them.Where did you get the diagrams for interior panel removal?
Hey op. What was your process to set the gains after the pink noise setup?I found them somewhere here on the forums and saved them. I don’t recall what post had them.
Which Focal speakers did you use?So, after getting everything installed and now that I was able to not rush as I ran out of sunlight, I spent some time this morning redoing my Auto Eq test and properly adjusted may gains. I also realized after my first Auto Eq setup I had hit the button and turned off what the amp did, so now I fully understand and have this all set up. Speakers are really dialed in and I'm blown away! Huge shout out to Plug and Play Kits (Plug & Play Kits Website) as I've never installed a 4 Channel Amp this quickly...the custom harness is AMAZING!
To help anyone out, I did record three videos showing:
-3 Different Generas (Dance, Pop, Rock) - Don't beat me up on the selections, just trying to help people hear the difference
-I do a fade to both the front and rear speakers so you can hear how this amp really improves the rear speaker sound
-I do have an Audison 10" Loaded Subwoofer that I do have turned off at the start of each video. I do work it in so you can also hear my complete system.
-Know I am not a video pro, so I apologize for noises and creeks as I move around or if this may not sound the best. Hopefully you can hear how full the cabin now sounds with this amp in using the Kicker Auto EQ. Note that all my radio settings are flatlined.
-Headphones may make these videos sound better.
-The cover pictures for each video are just cool pics I love of my Bronco!
Hope this helps you if you were on the fence...enjoy and feel free to ask any questions.

thanksThese are the ones. Crutchfield says they won't fit. The centers do push slightly against the factory covers once installed but I wanted these for their power handling![]()
