Whoops. I don't want to complicate things either. I agree with @Schmohawk. I also think it'll eventually come down to just a couple people who have been shipped, but not delivered, and it'll probably work itself out that way.

If anyone has to call Norfolk Southern instead of CSX to track their train, the commas in the number to automate the whole call is a little different than CSX. Here's the template:

1-800-635-5768,,,,,,2,,,8849#,,,XXXXXX#,,,,,1

8849 is if your rail car starts with TTGX, and just replace the set of X's with your number.

It is turning into a cluster, but I'd still like to get everyone's opinions in case there's a strong feeling either way. I'm inclined to leave it at "built" status.
Agree. Everyone has to know by now that “purgatory” means we have no updates further than “in production”,etc. That IF you haven’t had your trackers update but took delivery or had the dealer call to set that up-OBVIOUSLY you are out of purgatory. PS. I do NOT want to win and numerically we are all adults….PPS. If I get that call I’m for sure updating EVERYONE!!!!!

Love these! Let's all do a lil "Show and Tell" of things that we have purchased for the Broncos we don't have yet!!

I definitely have several things sitting around my garage waiting lol. Off the top of my head: hood struts, soft top lift assist struts, stubby antenna, Stickerfab goodies, a Bad Bronco emblem, a center console organizer, and some fabric grab handles that are preordered byt not shipped.
Got any pics of your fabric grab handles? or link? also was curious as i have not heard of the soft top lift assist struts.... seriously looking at those if you can help.

That's a good question that I'll have to think about, and am willing to hear people's opinion on. Because it's definitely possible. I'd prefer to arrive at a decision where one person wins.

One thing I learned in this process is that car dealers are 90% scumbags. Sorry to offend anyone that falls into the other 10%, but holding someone hostage for $2K is criminal.

That's ridiculous. I wouldn't want the dealer adding anything I didn't ask them to install, especially if it involves wiring and potentially drilling. That's a tough spot to be in, if all else fails maybe you can negotiate paying an extra $500+ and the dealer not install anything.
I think what's the most absurd is that my family has a personal relationship with the dealership. My mom worked directly for the owner for 15 years. But my mom is also a teacher now and I haven't been able to get ahold of her until about 20 minutes ago.

The dealership has always been one of the most reputable and honest I've known. My family has purchased a number of vehicles from them before- 3 myself.

Anyway. I finally got ahold of my mom (Yeah I'm gonna be 30 and ran to my momma) who was able to get ahold of the owner and according to her he's furious. We've never known him to conduct business that way and he's in complete shock that his sales people are forcing individuals to buy the package or lose their vehicle. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up firing my sales person and the management.

I'll let you know how it plays out. I'm going to head down there this afternoon. I'll upload pics. Thanks for the love guys.

Curious, have they ever added this on before with the previous vehicles you've purchased?

On a less stressful note, I got my rail number so my obsessive tracking can begin.
ok, i have to tell you it's fun... the only non fun part is the eye roll you get from your wife as you tell her the new location. yeah...they tend not to get to excited about that for some reason. geesh, who knew.

Guys, it's happening!! My sales rep called and said my Bronco was offloaded from the truck this morning and will be ready to pickup after work!!
