Lol we just did it once last time on the way in to town. The house we had was far away from anything. We are staying in the city this time so we can just walk to all the local places.

We drove over 500 miles on the island in a week last time. I hate driving in hawaii. It is so slow lol but it is a beautiful place to be a car passenger in and soak in the views.

As much as I would love to claim this award, I believe I am technically not in the running. My status is "built" since 1/16. Instead I've been sitting over two weeks waiting for any sign of my Bronco shipping.

Ok...thnx for letting us know. Hope youre in transit and you get the call to pick up your shiny, new Bronco soon!!

Guys, it's happening!! My sales rep called and said my Bronco was offloaded from the truck this morning and will be ready to pickup after work!!

I may be biased but I think she's perfect and won't change a thing

Just got the call from the dealership that my truck will arrive today.
They will allow me to use the Price Protection- of course.
The Customer Satisfaction funds for accessories only which I'm cool with.
No ADM- even better.

But they want to add a protection package that includes Theft Protect, 3M clear Door Guards, and Break Alert. But I haven't gotten a return on the price for those yet.

Not me - I've had a built status since 1/11 - just waiting on them to stick it on a truck. No emails or communication, though.
I'm just lost in a new Narnia, I guess.

Just wanted to make a clarifying post on the contest parameters:

Initially I had posted a "final delivery" award, but as Cat pointed out, that introduces a lot of variables in terms of shipping time due to geographic location, etc. That also brings in the possibility of someone's Bronco being delivered to the rail yard, but due to size of the rail yard, or lack of driver's in their area, they could be waiting weeks for the Bronco to be offloaded to the dealership. I also realize that there will be a subset of people unfortunately stuck in the "built" status for a bit before actually shipping. The only problem with that is we have seen surprise deliveries from the built status. The most consistent data point we have, just by virtue of Ford's tracker being a POS, is moving from production to built status.

So just to confirm, the parameter to win the contest is the last person to exit "purgatory" which is defined as moving from "In Production" to "Built" status. I hope this doesn't cause too much annoyance or grumbling due to changing it a bit, but I think this is the most fair parameter to go by.

What happens if the last group of people in purgatory are all moved from in production to built on the same day? Should there be a tie-breaker or everyone splits the prize?

That's a good question that I'll have to think about, and am willing to hear people's opinion on. Because it's definitely possible. I'd prefer to arrive at a decision where one person wins.
