Curious to hear why folks chose the BB over the other models. Was it cost only?

Mine should be built in the coming weeks 😁

BB Sasquatch w/2.7
I liked the rims, tubes steps (before finding out they block the Ford mud flaps), and the Signature lighting options that were available at a great cost! I just wanted a vehicle that drove great on pavement while the doors/roof off, so BB is perfect for me!

1) cost- don’t want to pay for extra capabilities and stuff I won’t use.
2) I want to customize to my tastes, so a basic model made more sense.
3) I couldn’t order Area 51 on the base model when I ordered.
4) I like the BB’s 17” wheel style and larger size more than the base’s 16” wheels.
5) privacy glass on BB, not on base.
6) 7-speed manual not available on Outer Banks.
7) better fuel mileage than Black Diamond.
8) less constrained than higher trim models means getting it sooner (though I had no idea when I ordered).

mud flaps work with Ford steps. I had to drill holes and move the steps back about and inch and a half. No cutting of steps. Trying to get pics of my BB up, but weather and salt and cold haven’t allowed me to yet.

I've recently seen that, that drilling holes in the mounting brackets and moving the steps back was an option, which I would rather do than cut off several inches! I ordered the $50.00 mud flaps from Ford Accessories today, so I'm hoping to tackle the project soon! Pics would be great! I'm not sure if I would tackle the project or have a professional to do it!!

It was actually pretty simple. I used rivnuts which kept it clean. I’ll see if I can get a couple pics today.

I didn't want all the extra technology stuff, I hated the space gray interior color on the base, and I wanted to be able to option the rear locker and tow package from the factory. Also factory window tint is way better looking than aftermarket and the material on the base steering wheel is bad and in my previous Ford experience does not last or age well like the leather wheels do. I like how the gray wheels match the grille and top and will leave it as-is for a while, I want to change the wheels/tires and also wrap the grille and top either black or white, undecided. I do vehicle wraps for a living so thankfully its easy for me to change later lol

How noisy are these tires? Also, any rubbing without the spacers?
Went with the LT Ridge Grappler on wife's BB - LT285/70R17, very happy with them. Noise isn't a factor, time will tell if they get louder with wear. No rubbing whatsoever. Performed well in first snow.

Grandma went with the BB Sasquatch 🤗

oh, that looks amazing! Also, do those bigger tires throw the speedo off much?

Exactly the same reasons why I went BB too!

It’s funny because I was originally set on going with a BD wSas. I later decided on the Basesquatch as for the money it’s hard to beat. When all was said and done I landed on the Big Bend Sasquatch. I still don’t think it’s worth the 6K over the base but my wife wanted the amenities of the mid package.

I thought I was sold on the MGV interior but since I live in the south east I’m thinking it’s a recipe for swamp ass. I currently have a JLU and I take the top off a lot in the summer. The cloth seats never get too hot and they breath pretty well. Don’t care about wash out floors because I’m never gonna spray out my interior, just take out the rubber floor mats and wash those out.

Another thing I like about the BB is that it doesn’t have all of the tacky colors in the interior. The blue and orange stick out like a sore thumb IMO and I’m not a fan. I’m pretty boring as I just want all black and gray.

The only two things I’m really missing are metal skid plates and sway bar disconnect. I plan on using my ford points to order the skid plates and I’ll pickup some sway bar quick disconnects for $250. Don’t care about the rear steel bumper because it’s way too big anyway you look at it, so I plan to replace it.

Lastly, I have really grown to love the look of the BB grille. I used to hate it, but it’s quickly become my favorite grille though I might paint it flat black at some point. Also love the fact I can get signature lights on the BB.

My build date was bumped to 2/7 and I’m hoping it sticks this time.

Realistically my Bronco will spend 99% of its life on pavement (nearest places to go off road ar between 4 and 5 hours away) So i was between OBX and BB. After submitting my order for the OBX, I realized it was still gonna have cloth seats, mid package. Everything I could get on the BB. So went BB

Oh, that's awesome. Lastly, how do those tires handle versus the stock, BB?
I'd say they make the Bronco feel more planted, but my comparison is limited since original tires were on for less than 24 hours.
