Ordered these door sill guards (first pic) off Amazon. They're rugged, cover the edges, and look great IMO but they're too thick and rubbed against the door bottom. This required extra force to close the door. In fairness, my driver's side door alignment is slightly low (even after an attempted...
Emptied the basement of surplus household goods, decorations and clothing for donation to Goodwill. Still had rear visibility!
The worker that assisted me loved my 2-door Big Bend so we chatted until the growing line of cars behind me grew agitated...
Thatās the perfect grille, IMO- looking to do the same on my A51 Big Bend (including getting a BD/Base grille). Who did you buy the letters from? Was it this vendor- UPR Products?

OP- also following, getting inspired to do more mods on my ā22 Big Bend. Great build so far!
Bronco_MI- love the Black Diamond grille! Was it a simple swap with the Big Bendās, or were any modifications needed to fit?
Love that shifter knob! Maybe itās just the photo angle, but it appears to sit lower than original height. Did you alter the stick, or did Twisted Shifterz shorten the adapter? Either way it looks great š
Nailed it! OP- another thing thatāll blow your mind: some Bronco drivers also purposely choose the longer, slower, curvier scenic route to enjoy the journey even more! š
Love my 2-door, 7MT Bronco- the most fun vehicle Iāve ever owned, buuutā¦since the question was asked- I would have liked:
- full analog speedometer and tachometer (like my old Jeep), and
- a CD player, as legions of people (OK 4 or
5 people) have requested. Start the car, music resumes. No...
Nice!!! Thatās the most authentic heritage build yet IMO. The wheels are from Fifteen52? What size and offset?
I like the stance- did you install spacers and lifts? What size?
Hereās an off-road mod that few, if any, 6G owners will ever get. Hi-rail vehicles like this are used for railroad track inspection and light maintenance. The small steel wheels are lowered down, and guide the Bronco along the track. True hands-free driving! Iām guessing the tow hook in front is...
Iām sure thatāll be a fine vehicle, like most Yodas, but until itās available as a 2-door, convertible, and/or manual transmission, itās not competition for MY Bronco.
Took the Bronco north of the border for the first time, and immediately met another A51. Proud new owner of the 4-door Outer Banks is Bob of Magog, Quebec. Funny how the same color looks different 9 months older and a little dirtier.
Took advantage of a rare (for New Jersey) February day in the mid-60's. Popped the top off and hit a section of the Trans-NJ Trail. Most of NJ looks more like this than the airport and turnpike.
I can hear my dad yelling at me ādonāt run below a quarter tank! The dirt on the bottom of the tank will get into the engine!ā. Still, I once squeezed 400 miles out of a tank in my old guzzler Jeep Liberty. I swear there couldnāt have been more than an ounce of gas leftā¦
Thanks everyone for keeping this thread current- the noise started in my non-Sas Big Bend 5 days ago. Exactly as so many have described. Iāve updated the spreadsheet and will follow up after my service appointment on 1/31.
