I bought a ditch light kit for my Bronco and was curious if anyone has installed one, and where did they mount the switch?

I don't have the aux switch package, so will be forced to do some cutting/drilling.

Also, for the accessory wires anyone know if any are under the dash? I see the bundle just outside the firewall from the main harness so I know they are there even though I didn't get the switches.

Honestly I'd get one of these. It's what we used on our truck since it doesn't have upfitters either:

The kit came with a switch and wiring, not really wanting to spend an extra $150 on a switch panel. Just need a good spot to mount it inside that is close to where the accessory wires terminate (not sure where that is or how to access them).
Trust me... it's worth it especially when you go to add more accessories later...

I appreciate the advice, but am still mounting the switch in the kit. The kit came with a three-way toggle for the DRL vs. Ditch lights that I want to keep and use. I don't plan on adding any more lights (which is why I skipped the aux switch package in the first place, knowing I would only use one or two of them at the most). Still looking for a good location to mount the switch, but after taking a good look yesterday it will be fairly easy to run the wires under the dash from the engine bay at least, so the switch location will be the hardest part.

Where did you mount the Auxbeam Switches?
The little tray in front of the shifter. I used the included mount and drilled some mounting holes. I removed the bronco badge plate that's there and used that as a place to screw it down

Now that's it's been there a while, do you still like the placement? I've seen a couple mounted on the dash as well.

Not really :) I mean it's fine because I didn't want it up high on the dash. But It's also low where I don't see it. I also don't drive the Bronco that much so it's not a big thing for me.

I know this is an old thread and you probably already mounted your switch, but I just got one of those stick on switches...
