I ordered in February (reserved October 2020). and just took delivery of
4- door soft top. Badlands / SAS / tow package / luxury / 2.7. Cactus grey. I ordered it that way and never changed anything. Got the email in October that it was scheduled to be built end of November. Just letting people know those constraints are being built.

@JoshuaPrieto I ordered my second bronco this week. A 4 dr badlands, high package, 2.7, non-sas with MGV seats. The only two constraints here are 2.7 and the sway-bar, correct?

Any idea what’s going on with the manual Sasquatch? My build got pushed two month’s into February
Because Ford finally allowed it to be selectable for MY22, it caused a huge pushback in dates, when everything went priority 99 and 2021->2022 orders were changing their specs this was Fords way of under promise over deliver. I hope you get your order sooner

Yes, Ford is definitely building them and I'm glad you got yours! :D but it just makes wait times longer. Your soft top definitely helps Ford choose this combo over similar but with a hardtop

From what you listed yes, high package is somewhat of a constraint but not as bad as a lux package, so this build would get priority if lux package was a commodity constraint for any upcoming build weeks. Going MGV is good, as many are going leather for the power seats

EDIT: Please keep in mind, nobody really knows when Ford has lifted the constraints - until they announce it themselves. It is a gamble removing/adding options

In other words,... get what you don't want??? How does this make any sense?
Thank you. Exactly what I thought. Let’s order what we don’t want, no thanks.

I was lucky that the exact build I wanted (Base 4Dr soft-top, 2.3 Auto, SAS, Aux switches) seems to be on the "fast track" to getting built.

I ordered December 2nd and the dealer called and said I had a build date December 11th.

That said, I wouldn't have changed it even if it meant a longer wait time...

I’m sticking with 2 dr hardtop badlands lux non-sas but I’m curious if certain exterior color choices might speed up the process? Currently, have tow as well and since many granger orders are way ahead me, I don’t see purpose of eliminating tow at the moment unless there was a guarantee it would move me up the line by a lot? Reserved July of this year and re-ordered oct for 22 model.

no guarantee and if you're ordered at Granger, I wouldn't remove anything. They have a huge log of customers. Also, I don't believe they're any constraint colors... I know Forged Green was Late Avail for a week or two, and then it switched to normal. EDIT: Eruption Green

Thank you. Exactly what I thought. Let’s order what we don’t want, no thanks.
I agree, get exactly what you want! This is more towards those who are either sick of waiting or want the best scenario at getting a Bronco without a 21 reservation

Welcome, thx joining & spending some time -

A big question to me is this:
? How is Ford allocating build-dates among the various Bronco demands ?
a) What % to dealer stock ?
b) What % to ’special favors’ ? . . i.e. Ford employees, their friends & family ? . . & VIP's ?
c) What % to new walk-in orders ?
d) What % to reservation scheduling ?
e) ? other demands ?

Some people want to believe most of the build-dates are used in reservation scheduling, but maybe not ?
I'll try to answer these the best I can, but this is more of a data/analytics question a Zone Rep could answer going through Reservation Leads/WBDO orders at regional levels... but I'll try

How is Ford allocating build-dates among the various Bronco demands?
A: Bronco build dates are solely based on commodity availability that is allocated on a weekly/monthly basis
What % to dealer stock?
A: Dealer stock is last to be selected, and I have yet to see true dealer stock be selected for scheduling(except for the mannequin units.) I have had weeks when we would have 31 allocations, only 10 retail orders would schedule, but had 31 stock orders available for selection - nothing happened. Ford seems to be prioritizing retail orders the best they can.
What % to ’special favors’?
A: Special favors usually result in a additional allocation granted to the dealership that gets a priority 1 or 2, but this doesn't mean it gets automatic selection. It has to meet requirements still, most VIP orders are done at a fleet-management level and the dealer never sees these
What % to new walk-in orders?
These would be considered retail orders, and if their build meets commodity requirements and the dealer has allocation, there is a chance it gets selection
What % to reservation scheduling?
Same answer as above... I'm sure I could break down my %, but I have more reservations scheduling than walk-ins still
Other demands?
Not sure what you mean, but to answer that last question, reservations are priority above walk-ins, but if that dealers' reservation/order list doesn't meet commodity requirements and a walk-in order does, that walk-in order will get selected most likely.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to share helpful first hand insight. Sorry this forum is full children who think information about allocation restrictions is somehow a personal attack on their precious Sasquatch.

I'm not spending over $50k to get something I don't want. I'd buy a Jeep if that was the case. Ford is going to lose loyal customers over this debacle.

Yeah, please don't change your order, the only option I have seen make a difference is deleting the hard-top option for the soft-top for 4-door, but even then - if you aren't going to be happy with the soft-top, don't do it. I love the soft-top, hard-top is awesome and wouldn't mind getting one though.

No worries, gotta have thick skin to help others sometimes. I can understand why some of the community is upset. I just hope Ford can get things moving quickly here soon, and get these Broncos to people.

I get that, and I wouldn't recommend changing your order - you wouldn't be happy. I sadly have some customers who asked me to cancel their orders, because of the delays - then call me a month later asking if I kept their order... the answer is no, all dealers should be canceling orders that customers back out on, to clear up the order bank. Sadly, dealers will be dealers. I want orders to go to customers that actually want them, not on a MAYBE.

Thanks for the info. It lines up with what my dealer was telling me this summer.

The two main things I changed:

Hardtop - went from a dual top to MIC top to soft top. Been a Jeep dual top driver for a decade and I've always said if I could only have one top, I'd go with the soft top. Because if I can't drop the top on a pretty day, might as well pick a different vehicle.

Towing - I tow a utility trailer pretty regularly. But once I looked into it, I knew I didn't need a 7 pin connection. I've been using a 4 pin for years with zero problems. With Curt aftermarket wiring and tow connection setup, I'll have exactly what I need and actually spend less money.

Picked up my Big Ben Bronco last week and I couldn't be happier.

Much thanks these insights, much appreciated !

Re Other demands -
For example, was thinking allocations to Worldwide Direct Market Operations (WDMO). Or other overseas sales ?
To my knowledge, Ford Dealers cannot sell vehicles out of country, it is against our Dealer Rules for exporting. Anything done on that level, will be done at a Corporate level.

That is awesome to here!! Hardtops will be available within the following years also, so going soft top isn't the end of the world if you like being able to fling it back on a sunny day

Much thanks again. It's big relief to see these insights of the scheduling process. Otherwise, B6g imaginations run wild . . . lolol . .

Overall, it sounds like maybe about half the Bronco build-dates are being allocated to reservation scheduling ?
But it's comforting to know Ford is still trying to schedule reservations first - within the limits of commodity availability. This approach still maintains a sense of fairness for reservation holders.

IMO, what drives the B6g community most nuts is when we start to wonder if Ford might abandon/ignore the initial reservations. Many reservation holders worry about this, and it's a big comfort to know reservations still have scheduling priority over walk-ins & dealer-stock orders, when the parts are available.
No worries, I've been lurking here for the majority of the time since Bronco release, and thought it was about time I said my peace about it all and hope to clear some things up. Reservations are priority, and in a perfect world, they'd be fulfilled first. I have only seen non-res Bronco orders schedule that were Base, Big Bend or Outer-banks non-squatch and 2.3l, no 2 doors all 4 doors.

I just hope Ford gets it together really soon, or I'm going to pull my hair out
