Jay Leno still got his first.

What's changed?I like to know the truth, used to be considered a positive trait. Times have changed....
I am more frustrated by the "influencers" who get the limited production, high dollar vehicle and then immediately destroy it for clicks. Maddening.Well, it happened to me. I heard rumors but, was in denial I guess. I follow several content creators, usually ones that are interested in the same hobbies as me. Just found out that one of them, which will remain un-named, are expecting their Wildtrack in June. They got their email first week and VIN. I can only assume they received a priority build. Also, I think they are confused about the difference between build and delivery, but that really does not matter for this conversation.
My question is, do we think this situation is only going by each dealer and how good the content creator is about making "good deals" or, do we think Ford got in on the action and giving out priority builds to create more advertising?
I guess I assumed that you were looking for the "truth" meant there was a lie.Exactly where did I say I was "lied" to in this thread. Think you may be confused some how.
Yep, months ago. I would love to visit his garage someday.Jay Leno still got his first.
Maybe, but I've found some great information in places like this, even though it is mixed with a lot of white noise.I guess I assumed that you were looking for the "truth" meant there was a lie.
Regardless.... The fact is that priorities are for sure happening at a dealer level. I don't think anyone here can confirm or deny that it's happening at a corporate level but I can't see it not being the case.
We will never know about the specific case you're asking about. You've asked for facts but we can't give you facts on an unknown case.
BINGOInfluencers are an unavoidable necessity in reaching today's market. Look at it this way, it's relatively few units, which will translate into many more sales. This is good for all of us! Stronger demand will yield more, better, awesomer, EVERYTHING!!!!!
I do not disagree with you. However, the channel in particular I was referring to is NOT part of the community. They do homeowner equipment operations and dealing with a special needs kid. So, it got me thinking how far does this go, my mind wanders sometimes..... Broncos go to influencers helps ensure that... they are going to do it. Lite Brite getting a Bronco early is going to do a heck of a lot more for Ford’s brand than 99.999999% of other Bronco reservations....
The dealerships that weren’t... encouraged by Ford to prioritize certain Broncos were left to their own devices as to who got priority. Totally possible they approached the dealership and offered to plug them/ whatever in exchange for getting their bronco early. Or they have a friend there, or know the owner, whatever. There’s too many factors to determine.I do not disagree with you. However, the channel in particular I was referring to is NOT part of the community. Ford would be stupid to not give a priority bronco to a channel like Lite Brite. Ford is a business and they can get a ton of free advertising on a JEEP channel with 200k followers.Well, it happened to me. I heard rumors but, was in denial I guess. The answer is there is no way for you to know. Ford dropped a handful of orders on us that were for VIP's if you want to call them that. One of them is a very well known actor who we all know. The other two I didn't know, but know one of them is a FAD(Ford parts distributor). I'm sure all three of them worked directly with Ford. Ford also contacted me and told me they were moving one of my customers with two reservations to the front of the line, as they changed his priority to 01. That person has some kind of relationship with a big off road custom company and works directly with Ford and SEMA somehow. So that could be considered an influencer if you will, although not on Youtube, they obviously are going to be doing some kind of promotion with the two they're getting. Lastly, there was no report from Ford on priority orders. We picked those at will and weren't given any instructions on how to allocate them. The question I posed was is this dealers doing this or is it directly from Ford. All the other commentary has been added or implied by others.
I have zero... I don't have a facebook, instagram or twitter, either. I am literally nobody, but got a "week of June 21." There's a lot of conjecture, but I think Ford's making Broncos in the order they have parts forecast.I have a whopping 6 (six) subscribers on YouTube and I have a "week of June 21st" build.
How do you like them apples?
