My Progressive Ins covers replacement - I made sure of that when I bought the Bronco - had a jeep years ago and I think I was up to 9 windshields when it got wreckedMight be too close to the edge for them to touch it though.

I had the non OEM windshield on my JK and If I remember correctly the cost was around $100 total. I purchased decals that mimic the OEM "easter egg" and saved a bunch of money in the process. You can do the same thing for the BroncoI got the safelite non-oem last time on our Jeep. Very disappointed with how it looks. Seems like the tint is less and missing the rest of the stuff that comes with the OEM. Not sure if that helps for the Bronco question. We also just got a crack a week or so ago in our Bronco. Typically we wait until there are more than one crack or the crack has spread too much.
PA is very anal about anything on the windshield, so I bought the Aeroskin hood protector after my second windshield in the first 6 months. I should not "Jinx" myself but last 18 months 26,000 miles no broken windshield and far less bug splatter!!!!!Consider getting Exo-Shield to help reduce cracks
DE is the same, even though I see plenty of front tint around town, exo-shield tho is perfectly clear, can't tell it's on unless I focus near the edgesPA is very anal about anything on the windshield, so I bought the Aeroskin hood protector after my second windshield in the first 6 months. yes that one, its usually crooked.By MAP sticker, was that one of the two stickers in the top, right passenger side? One of them was oval with green border or letters?
I think that was the first thing I took off (I had two).yes that one, its usually crooked.
Makes no sense to make a windshield in China; this has long sense gotten out of hand.
I sure hope the OEM glass is made at a shop in Michigan or at least someplace in the country.
IF the OEM costs $400 more or whatever, I’d pay it.
Laugh away then. Yes, I care that my Ford was made in Michigan by American Auto workers. Better that then being made in Mexico or China. I‘m happy with my Bronco and proud of the work the men and women at the MAP did to build it for me, so if a sticker is my way of saying thank you and appreciate keeping Ford American, then tag me a homer any day.Ha ha, you guys caring about a MAP sticker and not the BRONCO lettering. Cracks me up. You really want a reminder of where the truck came from? From a bunch of guys crying about pay, but totally ignoring the quality of their work?
Yeah I'll take the lettering over a MAP sticker any day.
A Gorrila Glass windshield sounds interesting. Do you know where they’re made for other vehicles?I have my MAP sticker, its going with my monroney sticker on the wall. I am holding out for Gorilla glass to make one for the 6G.
Aren't you all high and mighty?Laugh away then. Yes, I care that my Ford was made in Michigan by American Auto workers. Better that then being made in Mexico or China. If you can afford a shiny new Bronco, bet at some point you cried about pay as well. Interesting how self focused those with means can become with such short memories, then like to complain that nothing is built in America anymore. The irony…..
Lot’s of Toyotas and Kias for sell, maybe check them out.
