Before I break out the crazy glue, do any of you have a fix for the rubber peeling off of the window switches?

Mine did the same thing, ended up just picking it off while driving LOL
No good fix short of replacement (it’s easy to pop out). Supposedly new part number fixes it, but the price went up like $100

So I just did the same as @Bigred86 and it doesn’t really look any worse for the wear in my case

The new switch design eliminates that little piece so it can't fall off. Fully compatible, plug and play, but not particularly cheap - maybe shop around parts houses.
Otherwise, kragle it is.

Easy and cheap fix:

Old price: $31

Part number has been revised though:
R2DZ-14529-AB
New "Just for our Loyal Customers" improved price: $115

Can find it for around $75 if you shop around though. What a deal

Mine feels and functions just fine without that old piece of plasti-rubber. It feels like a chipped tooth for a couple of weeks at first but then you just smooth it out with your finger after that, and before you know it it feels normal again.

If you have any documentation where you called prior to rolling over they should still cover it.

yikes. didn't realize the new version had climbed that high in price. I swapped mine with the old one, I think, like 2 months after I got my Bronco (used, 45k miles). So far it's held up to 72k without breaking again.

It's a really easy fix though.

Mine isn't peeling but chunks have been worn away from mine. 2021 with 40,000km and I have my top and doors off for the spring and summer so not like they get much use.

I replaced my switch assembly for around 20 bucks last year. Ridiculous that the price shot up that much since then.

If there was a replacement that would allow swapping the bottom buttons to the top where my old tired brain thinks the front switches would be, I’d go that route. I tried super glue and it just peeled from a different spot so I’m in the rubber peeler club. 🤔
